peacemaker leaves Tempo Storm

Luiz "peacemaker" Tadeu has announced that he has stepped down as Tempo Storm's coach with immediate effect.

Tadeu leaves the team after six months on the job, having joined in November – when the roster still competed as Games Academy – following the departure of Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado to Brazilian rival Luminosity Gaming.

During this period, he helped the team to establish themselves as a major force in North American Counter-Strike, winning the CEVO Gfinity Pro-League Season 9 Finals and finishing runners-up to Luminosity at last weekend's DreamHack Austin. These campaigns saw Tempo Storm move up to eighth in our world ranking.

In a statement issued on his Facebook page, Tadeu explained that both parties agreed on his exit from the team as "some things were no longer as they used to be" and added that he will soon reveal his future plans.

"When we arrived in North America, our main goal was to qualify for the ESL Pro League, a goal that, if all goes well, will be achieved this weekend," he wrote.

"But, over time, I realised that I had in my hands the best team that I had ever been part of in my career.

"Our growth was fast and steady, making it possible for us to get very close to the top in just five months.

"After these five months, we agreed that it would be best for the team and for myself that I stepped down.

"I really respect these guys, and today I can say that we are victorious, that Tempo Storm have a solid team and with a bright future ahead."

Tempo Storm will be in attendance this weekend at the ESEA Premier Finals, in Burbank, where they will try to secure promotion to the ESL Pro League. The team's roster looks as follows:

Not really. Tempo Storm were shit. Now they are getting better. peacemaker probably isn't able to keep up. Either that or the players don't think he can, so they asked him to step down.

I do not think that is the case, he feels that he would be better as a coach/igl elsewhere, because with TempoStorm so established right now they do not really need him that much if at all. He clearly wants to be more involved with the scene and contribute to the growth of a team. This shouldn't backfire, but I could see it happening.
