Echo Fox, Rush qual. for ESEA GC LAN
Echo Fox and Rush have won their respective semifinals in the ESEA Premier Season 22 North America playoffs bracket and have secured their spots in the $50,000 Global Challenge Finals.
The ESEA Season 22 Global Challenge Finals will offer up $50,000 in prize money for eight teams from regions around the world, with Europe and North America each receiving two spots through their Premier division playoffs and the four remaining regions a spot apiece through their Open division playoffs.
With the action taking place from August 27-28 at ESL's studio in Katowice, Poland (the same location for the Cologne Major qualifier), the first region to secure its two attending teams was Europe with ENCE and MK qualifying for the Global Challenge LAN only hours before.
Some time after the conclusion of the European bracket, North America's Premier teams sparred and the first semifinal saw Rush take down SteamAnalyst 2-0 (including the second map of Mirage going into overtime), with the former team perhaps most notably featuring David "Toy" Han, who used to play for Method's North American CS:GO team.

roca's Echo Fox weighed their prospects (and such) and qualified for the ESEA Global Challenge
The second semifinal was between the most favourited team in the bracket, Echo Fox, and Prospects, with the latter team having most notably defeated Complexity in a best-of-three in the SL i-League Season 2 Americas qualifier.
This time around, the match was a one way street for Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir & co. of Echo Fox as they breezed through Prospects 2-0 and qualified for the main event in Poland in late August.
