EnVyUs top Group B in Kiev

EnVyUs have won Group B at the WESG 2016 Europe & CIS Regional Finals following an undefeated group stage campaign.

The second day of matches in Group B started out with Envy' 16-9 victory against dd as Christophe "⁠SIXER⁠" Xia's new team secured their third win in the tournament. Astralis also prevailed, demolishing fish123 and dd to go 3-0. These results ensured that the match between Envy and Astralis would be for the first place in the group.

ALTERNATE aTTaX got eliminated from the tournament after losing to dd in their last match as the Belgians secured the third seed in the group, advancing to the knockout stage where they will have to play a second seed from another group in order to book their spots in the quarter-finals.

EnVyUs to the quarter-finals

Envy and Astralis faced off on Dust2 and the Frenchmen were able to clinch the first place in the group with a 16-14 victory. While Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer & company advanced to the quarter-finals, Astralis got through to the knockout stage where they will face a third-placed team from another group. Envy have also qualified for the WESG Global Finals by advancing to the quarter-finals.

Yup, he was really stepping up with his shots and position today. But the thing is Happy's predictable lurk had recently hurted NV a lot.

I'm not surprised. This is the best ENVYUS for a long time. We'll see what they can do. Maybe TOP5? It will be difficult, but who knows. Very good performance by SIXER. People criticize him, ofc unfairly. I'm sure he will be better than DEVIL.
