Astralis bench karrigan

Astralis have benched in-game leader Finn "karrigan" Andersen and will be using 16-year-old Anton "NoTaN1dgl" Pedersen in their upcoming matches, the organization revealed on their website.

Ever since their addition of Markus "⁠Kjaerbye⁠" Kjærbye, the Danes have been unable to impress at the events they've attended, including ECS Season 1 Finals, ELEAGUE Season 1 and SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals.

Most recently, they failed to make it past the group stage at ESL One New York, where they only won one out of four matches, and to quarter-finals at WESG Europe & CIS Regional Finals following a narrow loss to GODSENT in relegation matches.

karrigan will sit on Astralis' bench in the foreseeable future

Shortly after Astralis returned from Kiev, the organization announced that Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen has been benched by coach Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen. 16-year-old Anton "⁠notaN⁠" Pedersen will step into the team to fill the gap in their upcoming matches in ESL Pro League Season 4. Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz also revealed that the addition of notaN is temporary.

So? Nip, mouz, faze, dig, fnatic, envy and na'vi will probably get more. Looking at the matches left; Nip, mouz, fnatic and faze are almost guaranteed having more than 15. Either envy or navi will do the same depending how they play eachother.

Naah, think they will pick up Gla1ve, if they dont they will lose major spot. The playser with the major spot is; Device Xyp9x Zonic Karrigan Gla1ve So if they kick karrigan, they lose the major spot, unless they pick up Gla1ve.

Med major spot mener jeg; Da Astralis kom ud af grupperne i Cologne, er de et Legends team. Det betyder at de automatisk er med i den næste major og altså ikke behøver spille Minor for at vinde en plads i næste Major. Denne legends status den kan man så miste, hvis man skifter mere end to af de spillere der opnåede den. Det man bla andet så med Fnatic/Godsent. Fnatic opnåede legends med Olof, Dennis, JW, Krimz og Flusha. Men da JW, Krimz og Flusha så skiftede til Godsent, så mistede Fnatic altså deres legends status, og Godsent fik den istedet for. Hjalp det? :p

Når man er Legends Team som Astralis er, så er det de 5 spillere på holdt som opnåede Legends der automatisk er med til den næste major. Den Legends status følger spillerne og ikke org'en. Så hvis man evt skifter org mellem to Majors, så mister man altså ikke sin Legends status. Der er dog en regl, og det er at man MAX må skifte to spillere ud, så der skal være 3 ud af de 5 spillere der opnåede Legend status på holdet, ellers mister de den. Og da Astralis spillede med; Zonic Device Gla1ve Xyp9x Karrigan Gla1ve er så ude, og Zonic er deres coach. Så hvis de skifter Karrigan ud, og det IKKE er med Gla1ve så mister de deres legends status, og skal altså spille kvalifikation for at vinde en plads i den næste major. Dupreeh er ikke låst og kan sagtens spille for Astralis ved næste Major, men han har ikke Legends Status.

I played with that kid on FACEIT when I had premium like in 7 out of 10 matches on master league, like 2100elo - he only played with premades, had 100~~+-hours in 2 weeks. all astralis needs is a mental coach. they are all great cs players but can't deliver at high pressure. vp should be a role model for all the teams swapping players. best way is to get through it together.

It's true, they have the potential but almost never play their best once it gets to the finals I'd gladly teach them the ways of the force, lol. IMHO it's a bargain too.. hope they do get someone, someone who is a good fit personality wise and can help them really understand the personal evolution they should aim for and how profound an effect it will have on their whole life, not just career
