Heroic have revealed that they have recruited Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen to fill in the gap left by Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's departure to Astralis.

The announcement comes after a lot of speculations regarding potential roster moves in the Danish scene. As Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander departed to Astralis, HEROIC turned towards the lower echelons of the Danish scene to pick up Tricked's star player - Nikolaj "⁠niko⁠" Kristensen.

niko will be stepping up to Heroic

HEROIC has revealed that gla1ve is selling his shares of the player-owned organisation to niko as a part of the deal, with the 18-year old set to become an equal co-owner of HEROIC with time.

This is what Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer had to say about the move:

"While we are in the unique situation of being masters of our own destiny, we also have to recognise that we are like any other CS:GO team which will see occasional player transfers. As five co-founders, we decided that it made good business sense to sell gla1ve to Astralis. As five players, we decided that niko is an excellent new fifth man who can fill gla1ve’s shoes." - From the announcement at Heroic.gg
