maxie joins Denial

Denial Esports have announced that they have secured the services of Max "maxie" Lönnström.

The Swedish player, formerly of Publiclir.se and Orbit, will step into the shoes of Christian "⁠Spitfire⁠" Schiölde, who has been released from his contract after just four months on the roster.

Created in August with three former members of WinterFox and Swedish duo Spitfire and Alexander "⁠SKYTTEN⁠" Carlsson, the team competed in three open pre-qualifiers for ELEAGUE Season 2 but failed to make it to the closed stages.

In a statement, Denial COO Ray Arsenault explained that, "after talking with Max "⁠maxie⁠" Lönnström and hearing his goals going into 2017, it was clear that he was the right person."

"I am really excited to get the opportunity to fly across the Atlantic and play for Denial," he said.

"It feels great to be a part of this team, and also to finally play with SKYTTEN once again."

Denial eSports is pathetic. If I were to re-enter the csgo scene, I would pick up an established and good team, or at least if I didn't have the funds to do so, I would pick up a team of young talent that could maybe develop into good players with the help of a formidable IGL and more in-game experience. These guys are old and washed up. Anger hasn't been relevant since like mid-2014 and he's 29. He's not going to all of a sudden pull some god-like talent out of his ass. He's washed up. Xp3 has never been relevant, asides from his short stint on winter fox where people thought he was cheating because of some cache wall bang. On top of that, he's the coach of Selfless Fe. He's not even dedicated to playing CS professionally. Flowsick has noteably played for team Liquid, but a Team Liquid that couldn't compete at all. This guy had like 20 games in the red in a row; he might have played for a good org, but he himself was never good. Judging by his age, which is 25, he won't experience a sudden surge in performance either. With skytten, it's just a shame. He's an experienced IGL that everyone was excited to see play for Kinguin. Pls rescue him from the pits of Denial. He shouldn't be on some top Swedish team, but he at least should be allowed to surround himself around more formidable players than ex-winter fox. I'd much rather see him play with maikelele on qwerty. Finally, there is Maxie. I've personally never heard of him, so there isn't much I can say. He isn't old but he definitely isn't young. However, he pretty awful stats against t3 teams in Europe. I'm not about to judge his skills based off of numbers, but I have a hunch that he's not particularly going to impact Denial's performance. What a shame. This whole roster is a waste of money. It doesn't benefit the org in the slightest way either. What kind of player would want to play with these guys; no one will want to join Denial.

I was writing something...different words but about the same point. SKYTTEN is pretty damn good, for his tier at least (cause if I dont qualify my statement someone will bash me saying he sucks cause he isn't as good as kioshima or rain or someone) XP3 is the IGL I hope??? Otherwise there is NOOO reason to have him on the team. Flowsick is TERRIBLE, never been good, the fact he has 1/2 the games or less in 2015 than 2016 is a GOOD sign, that trend SHOULD have continued down until ZERO games for him being played. Let him cast or be an analyst, coach, ANYTHING but play he is garbo. anger on the other hand, I disagree and agree with you...I DO NOT think he is going to "break through" and become amazing, but I don't think he is bad. I DO LIKE your idea of a young inexperienced team, but I find these teams do better with some veterans for both leadership, and experience. maxie is 22...young and green enough to be considered a "newer" talent even though he isn't brand new, we are seeing some players break through at an older age with so many ppl playing just like we are seeing teenage phenoms like Twistzz and stewie2k. ANYWAYS I LIKE your idea...BUT I say keep SKYTTEN, anger for veteran leadership, maxie can be a green younger guy but not totally a kid to "bridge the gap", and then they can pick up (2) 16-22 year old up and comers...and add/drop as needed. OCEAN IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST INFLUENCES on North American CSGO! Is he great? HECK NO, but right now we don't have recruiter/player developer/weight trainer (sports), etc. NBA, NFL, and many other sports do...Ocean has found some of THE BEST young talent in North America, and on top of that he has helped polish them, and showcase them to move on to bigger and better teams. My point is that MAYBE this team could compete with your idea, BUT even if it could not, at least with your idea it would be growing young talent. I always liked SKDC/KKONA for that reason, they were out of their league , but it was a GREAT stepping stone for players to use to get to the next level (since the team was a division higher than should have been IMO), but back then there were much less teams...it seems like in the last 6-12 months the # of teams has skyrocketed. Amuwaus, this is WAY to sensical for HLTV>...so I will finish with "Flowsock sucks elephant nuts and flosses with donkey pubes on purpose, and xp3 coaches women so that he can hear a females voice to listen to during fun time because his mom grounded him for racking up 1-900 charges, and I say his mom because no gaming house would want these guys and no org that is not crazy pays them enough $ to live alone, and no one watches their lame streams to give them income (ANOTHER thing Ocean has besides recruiting/player dev skills, PERSONALITY...his stream is the shizzz...he is always "watering the dog" which is his codeword)

ya TERRIBLE...before I watched him much I saw this 2 game series vs Luminosity, October 2016. I didn't watch tons of Pro matches before end of 2015. Overpass hltv.org/?pageid=188&matchid=28493 (25-22) Train hltv.org/?pageid=188&matchid=28494 (19-11) I thought "maybe I was too hard on him and he got better, or isn't as bad as I thought." NOPE that series was his lucky day, he sucks balls and enjoys flossing with the pubic hairs. Look at his 2015 match history vs 2016...WAY LESS games, that was smart, it should go down to zero this year. Xp3 I THINK (and hope) is the IGL (or no reason to keep), SKYTTEN is actually pretty good IMO for this tier, anger and maxie average to good on certain games give Maxie a shot, I don't know him but can't hurt. SKYTTEN should be on any tier 3 team he wants...he might even deserve a shot at tier 2 but I know he is good enough for tier 3. anger is solid but not amazing BUT PLEASE have XP3 full-time coach the gals, and get flowsick to retire...or maybe hold a clipboard for xp3 and give him a sticker and a lollipop and tell him he is an "analyst" but just PLEASE let me never watch him play again
