fnx set to join Immortals

SK Gaming backup member Lincoln "fnx" Lau appears set to further his career on Immortals.

The 26-year-old is assessing his options after being moved to a backup position on SK's roster in November, with his teammates later revealing that his attitude had come under scrutiny.

Upon being named the 19th best player of 2016, Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau stated that he had "many plans" and promised to reveal them soon.

fnx looks set to return to activity

And it seems now that his future lies with Immortals, after the two-time Major champion joined the Brazilian team's ESEA roster, replacing João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos, who left the roster on Wednesday.

felps has long been linked with a move to SK, who are attending the ELEAGUE Major with Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco as a stand-in. The 20-year-old was named by both Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga and Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David as one of the players to look out for in 2017.

Contacted by HLTV.org, fnx declined to comment on the matter.

If confirmed, Immortals' new roster will consist of:

Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles
Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass
Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes
Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau

This shuffle wont be bad for imt and will be good for SK. Felps will be giving his best to win with them and fnx will try to prove they amde the wrong choice by replacing him. Lets see how it will be for both teams.

This experience thing being the best for them is bullshit imo. It would be better for them to stay with felps. I doubt it.. they were playing together for 8 hours a day... living together.. when the fuck is he going to have time to be sleeping around with fer's gf? I would guess his attitude didnt suit the type of team SK is. fnx has been around the international scene since 2005. He disappears every few years then reappears. I would guess hes an Ola Moum type of player that burns out pretty quick and struggles with the grind. Players like fallen and cold seem all about the grind. 8-10 hours a day, deathmatch/aim-maps for hours.. got to be on time for practice, you need to put in the same amount of work they are doing. fnx isnt that type of guy, at least looking at his history.

People just have to understand, living with nonfamily people so long is very hard. Sometimes the relationship does not fit, and become impossible to keep playing together. FNX is well knowed by not been professional, having a lot of bad behavior, toxic... Fallen helped him a lot of times, giving him oportunity to grow up, but he is steel a teenager. Now he will have a new oportunity to improove on his personal life and grow up. Felps is a huge doubt, he had awesome moments and terrible ones with immortals, i agree he is the right player for SK, but he will need to proove that he can play on the best team of the world inside the game now. Fallen is the MVP player of the world, his amazing job is the only reason we still have any CS in Brazil, and the only reason that we have 2 brazilian teams playing on the top. We must support Fallen till the end!!!
