CRUC1AL leaves Splyce

Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel is leaving Splyce with immediate effect, the player has revealed via social media.

Last year, the North American organization formed an international roster with the likes of Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen, Enkhtaivan "⁠Machinegun⁠" Lkhagva and Joey "⁠CRUC1AL⁠" Steusel. Today, after missing his team's latest match, the Dutch player has announced via social media that he will be leaving Splyce.

It is CRUC1AL's turn to leave the United States.

The roster has been changing a lot lately: first with the release of the Mongolian player, then with AcilioN's departure. Recently, Splyce brought Kory "⁠SEMPHIS⁠" Friesen in and also confirmed Zachary "⁠Eley⁠" Stauffer as their coach. Now, they see themselves without their main AWPer and with only four players on the active roster.

Daniel "⁠roca⁠" Gustaferri played instead of CRUC1AL in yesterday's ECS Development League match, but it's still uncertain who is replacing the Dutch player in Splyce. For now, the squad stands as follows:

They would just be beating a dead horse at that point, Roca has played with the majority of this roster on teams with a lot more talent and has found little success. Mutually I think it would be beneficial if Spylce and Roca both seek out different opportunities.
