The closed qualifier for the European Minor Championship has come to an end, with dignitas, fnatic Academy and Kinguin securing the final spots at the offline event.

dignitas ended Space Soldiers' dream of attending the Minor with a comprehensive 16-2 victory on Inferno after an extremely one-sided first half in which the Norwegian team gave their opponents very little room to operate.

fnatic Academy came away with the most surprising victory of the round as they defeated Heroic, the current No.14 team in the world, 16-7 on Mirage, with Alex "⁠Karus⁠" Saglamoglu topping the scoreboard on 25 frags.

The Minor will be Kinguin's first event abroad with Hyper

With Grzegorz "⁠SZPERO⁠" Dziamałek leading the charge, Kinguin edged past Tricked 16-13 on Train to secure the very last spot at the Minor through a qualifier that was not kind to Danish teams.

The final team list for the EU Minor looks as follows:

BIG	fnatic Academy
LDLC	Kinguin

The event will take place from June 15-18 in Bucharest, Romania. In addition to $50,000, teams will fight for three spots at the offline qualifier for PGL Major Kraków.

Yeah that was just me hoping. I would probably bet my money on fna.aca to join them. Big has 2 onliners and legija. Also kinguin and dignitas looked shaky. So i would say fnatic.aca, LDLC or iGame))) will make it

Tricked deserves this more then Hyper :/ no danes made it... only Tenzki.... but a swedish team made it.... as an academy team. from teh stacked Minor quals, so the minor now(which 3 will go to the closed qualifier) My hopes are on BIG and my bet's are on nV.

Online qualifier -> Minor Close qualifier-> Major close qualifier (with teams like G2, Mouses, IMT etc) -> Major Lul no way that NIP or SS make it that far. Maybe Heroic could have make it but still hard. Currently qualify for Major is harder than become legend at Major. That is why every single teams at major should fight to obtain legend status in order to avoid all those shit qualifications.

The idea that major qualifier is super hard now is pretty BS. Which decent teams didn't make it last time? Cloud9, immortals, nip? Cloud9 and nip lost to vega squadron and tyloo, I think imt is the only team that didn't qualify that didn't lose to a hilariously bad team along the way.
