KPI lose CS:GO team

KPI Gaming have announced that they have parted ways with their CS:GO team with immediate effect.

In a statement, KPI revealed that the decision was made by the players, who are expected to reveal their next destination in the coming days.

The Spanish team had been part of KPI's ranks since September 2016, and during their time under the organisation they established themselves as the strongest side in the country, winning several domestic tournaments including Barcelona Games World, ESL Major Spain and ESL Masters España.

Spanish team beat EnVyUs at Dreamhack Valencia

Earlier this month, Javier "⁠dragunov⁠" Sánchez & co attended DreamHack Valencia, where they raised eyebrows by defeating Envy in the first round of the group stage before eventually falling short against the French side in the decider match.

"The day we never wanted to come is here, it is time to say farewell to KPI," a statement from the players added.

"All of the members of the organisation helped us to grow, and, for that, there is no proper way to thank them.

"We would like to thank KPI's staff for doing what they did for us every day. Thank you for continuing to be who you are, and we hope the club will reach the highest level."

Need a club with more resources to play in Europe they won envy when they only play against Spanish and EU very low tier they lack practice and I think they are looking for they can compete in EU but need some matches like dhv

Don't blame them...they might not be a top 10 team or top 20, but from what they showed they can definintely be a top 20-30 team...but to do that they need an Org people have actually heard of not KPI

gotta get it while you can before they arent known about at all anymore except for their local scene! Thats why Smooya left UK and CosmeeeN left Romania...when your hot and can get better offers you gotta move quick thats how CSGO works, otherwise you get forgotten about or not offered opportunities later

I remember gbots/Atlantis as the best team in Spanish scene, I remember them playing a lot of csgo T2 EU torunaments with such teams as SS and GPlay. They seemed to had potential but all got fucked up when they got signed by Epsilon
