GODSENT have announced that their roster is now complete following the signing of Fredrik "freddieb" Buö from Epsilon.

The 23-year-old becomes GODSENT's new in-game leader, a position that had been vacant since Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten was moved to the bench, only two weeks ago.

Fredrik "⁠freddieb⁠" Buö, who is GODSENT's second signing of the Summer following Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman' arrival from fnatic, had been part of Epsilon since the British organisation signed the team known as Cringe Gods, in March 2016.

During his time with Epsilon, the team won several international tournaments, including Pro Gamer League 2016, the Nordic Championship and the WCA World Finals. He made his last appearance for Epsilon last weekend, in the Gfinity Elite Series playoffs, helping the team to win the title with a 3-0 success over Prophecy in the final.

"I'm really excited to start a new chapter in my career in GODSENT," freddieb said in a statement. "It's going to be awesome playing in a full Swedish lineup again together with a group of really talented players, who have the potential to reach the top if we work hard together.

"I want to thank Epsilon for helping me and the other players get our foot in professional esports and that I will always be grateful for the chance that was given to me.

"Now it is all about GODSENT and I look forward to playing the first official game tomorrow agains EnVyUs in ESL Pro League."

freddieb is the latest Epsilon talent to be transferred to bigger teams, following in the footsteps of Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun, who also plies his trade for GODSENT, and of current Ninjas in Pyjamas duo William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin and Fredrik "⁠REZ⁠" Sterner.

Meanwhile, GODSENT announced that they are on the lookout for a new head coach as Graham "messioso" Pitt, who took over on an interim basis in June, is set to resume his job as RFRSH Entertainment's Head of Esports.

With freddieb's addition, GODSENT have the following roster:

Schneider is arguble, as he played for fnatic in 2013, but took a huge break, and I guess jayz has moved out of the swedish scene for the time being, the rest are all new players to be offered contracts by top swedish teams so I really don't understand what you're on about. Freddieb often carries too (and even when doesn't is usually positive k/d) for Epsilon. If he plays well (or even goes -5 compared to pronax -20) I think godsent have a real chance. SO MANY games I saw godsent lose 14-16 or 12-16 with pronax -15 or worse and it always made me wonder how they would do with an IGL that could frag, now we will find out!

Rez has done absolutly nothing to improve nip, he actually made them worse since where ever he is on the map will be their weakest point. If you want you can check nip results with pyth vs rez then check again in 6 months. Im quite sure that in 6 months their results will still be better while with pyth. yeah pyth was good at the beggining his rating went almost below friberg lately and also for Godsent he played like shit and Pyth had an injury and maikelele was playin so 2 tournament wins for year playing with 2 months break ok but when he came in Nip werent that big of a shit as they were when rez came and after rez came 2 top tier tournaments 1 quarters 1 semis and win on a tier 2/3 tournament which they wouldnt win few months ago when they were loosing to SpaceS iGame.com like 16:4 and 16:3 ofc he made them worse :D being 21st team now they are 7th

not about playing cs it is about watching pro scene and know how the rankings and how HLTV works :D rankings were updated 3rd July they were 20-21 when rez came in first match 4th July he played the first game for Nip at ESL Cologne they went 3-0 to quarters and week after they moved up to #12 spot at rankings not sayin rez is the best on Nip and other stuff but he was the best possible pickup for Nip and he is only 19 played only 2 top tournaments and getting quarters and semis not bad :D

Good move on paper, but Swedish CS is currently in decline has been since 2015/early-2016. Hopefully NiP/fnatic or GODSENT can pull something out of the magicians hat at the following events, otherwise I admire these much needec hanegs to be in fruition. Too many people are shitting on Pronax here. Hes a really good IGL, just his aim seem a bit off and I think he lost a lot of confidence due to under performance. GodSent, w/ just Lekr0 (amazing player, but a noobie in the pro scene), disco (solid, but was under performing for a bit), pronax (under performing, lost confidence), znander (on and off), Twist (best player on Godsent right now), were competing with teams like immortal and almost beating them. Denis, Freddie B, and Twist are the carriers, disco and zander are the solid followers. Godsent, has a chance to become a top 10 team no doubt, and if Pronax decides to take on the head coach position, that will be even better. You can't underestimate Pronax's IGL experience plus tactics. My point is, whether they keep pronax as a sub or move him as a HC, it can only help this team.
