dignitas have confirmed that Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran and Asger "AcilioN" Larsen will be joining their CS:GO roster, replacing Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen and Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann.

The European mixture featuring the likes of Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel and Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco didn't have a brilliant start with their original lineup featuring Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill and Faruk "⁠pita⁠" Pita, but were quick to make a mark when they added Jorgen "⁠cromen⁠" Robertsen and Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann, qualifying for the Minor and making it to the Major Qualifier. That is where Dignitas' good run stopped, though, as defeats to Immortals, GODSENT and Vega Squadron saw them eliminated from the tournament.

loWel found a new home in dignitas

Following the summer break, Dignitas was spotted playing qualifiers with the former MOUZ player Christian "⁠loWel⁠" Garcia Antoran as well as Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen—who quit undefined to focus on in-game leading. The team has now confirmed the signing of the duo, as well as the departure of the Scandinavians that helped them get to the Major Qualifier this summer.

In their official announcement, Dignitas confirmed that AcilioN will be the new caller for the team, taking over from RUBINO.

This squad is set to play a BO5 against HEROIC for a spot in ECS Season 4 today at 18:00 , while their LAN debut will be at the ASUS ROG Masters EMEA Finals in October.

Cromen THEIR BEST PLAYER? Are u serious? Did u see Dignitas' last matchs? Before their loss to Vega Squadron? Cromen was on the bottom place of the scoreboard EVERY TIME. Cromen was shit, RUBINO is quite shit. Only good fraggers in Dignitas were fox and jkaem. Add LoWel and AcilioN is an improvement, that's sure.

Meh. Rubino could IGL better easily, he just do not want to (he said so himself). That is the sad part. If Acilion intends to become more of a IGL+fragger type, Dignitas would go T2 with enough playing together. The days of an IGL not fragging (IE Pronax) won't bring much fruit, as we see in multiple tier 3 teams. However, IF someone begins to step up so hard that they can negate that problem (that would have to be Fox, Rubino and jkaem, perhaps loWel but I have my doubts about him), it doesn't necessarily have to matter. So we'll see I guess.

fox needs to stop being stupidly agressive ok, we get it, he is an agressive player (with some degree of quality) but he makes plays that are unaceptable - peaking the same angle 3 rounds in a row as a ct with no help is just dumb and he doesnt get it sometimes
