After SK clinched the trophy at ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals with a 3-1 win over FaZe, we caught up with Marcelo "coldzera" David to present him with the MVP medal and quiz him about the grand final.

SK became the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals champions after defeating FaZe 3-1, losing only Inferno before clinching Overpass and Mirage, as well as Train following an overtime-battle.

The tournament's MVP, Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David, then gave us an interview about the grand final, evaluated the year for SK who have no more events coming up until next year, and touched on the team's plans for the Major, where they are forced to use João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos:

Bo3 against Sk, bo5 against Faze. A best of FIVE. No bo5 is ever a fluke, especially not when you face the two best teams in a row and beat them rather easy. It was one of the most impressive runs of the year and you can't take that away from NiP. I don't like NiP either, as a fnatic fan, but I would never spit in their face after beating SK and FaZe in that playoff. Not like they played Space Soldiers or Envy to get to the final. They had a real run, accept it and respect it.

TBF they won the most titles, prize money and they did good in both majors. There really isn't another team close to them in terms of results this year, FaZe had a nice little run when NiKo first joined and have been making good results for a few months now but SK been doing that the whole year so it really isn't surprising they are the best team in the world just more consistent results and more LAN titles than any other team. FaZe can't beat them so in theory their top spot is pretty safe atm not really any competition for them until someone like G2 or Astralis can get back up to that level because both of those teams are able to beat SK.

Astralis won 1 major and only 1 more event they been no where near SK, G2 hasn't really won anything big in a while.
