steel replaces dapr on GX roster
GX have replaced Michael "dapr" Gulino with Joshua "steel" Nissan, the 19-year-old has revealed on Twitter.
The decision follows GX's disappointing performances in New York last week as they went out of the ESEA MDL Global Challenge and of the ESL Pro League Relegation Stage without winning a single map.
In a Twitlonger post, Michael "dapr" Gulino wrote that he believes the other GX members suspect that he "threw" the match against Rogue in the relegation stage, in which he averaged a 0.63 rating.

The 19-year-old admitted to being nervous at event, which was his first non-local LAN, adding that his lack of experience played a role in his poor displays in the two tournaments. He also claims that the other team members did not talk to him about this situation and have ignored him since the event.
"I honestly wish I was kidding," dapr wrote. "While I feel I am being scapegoated for a whole team breakdown at this event, I want to go into my side of the story and pretty much defend myself from this accusation.
"I will start off by saying I obviously didn't play well this bo3, which could be attributed to things such as changing IGLs mid-LAN (witmer decided to not AWP/IGL after practicing for a month before the LAN with him as IGL and give that task over to AZK while witmer is the entry fragger) and, honestly, nerves. This was, in fact, the biggest LAN and only non-local LAN I've been to and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.
"Well to no surprise we got demolished 16-6 and 16-9. Right after this match ended, I decided to go to my room and unwind and chill before the next match, the next morning.
"Something happened this night that made the team completely believe that I was playing for the other team since the next match, against Rise Nation, we played the most embarrassing braindead Counter-Strike I have ever been a part of.
"I cannot go into specifics since the only reason I even know my team thinks this is because right after I left the venue to go home (I live locally), my friends on other MDL teams let me know that my team was telling everybody I threw our matches.
"They never spoke to me about it or anything, in person or online, completely ignored to this day which led to me making this post in the first place.
"As of now, my future is uncertain, but I will try to take this situation and make it as positive as I can and play on another team and chase my dream."
On GX, Joshua "steel" Nissan will reunite with Keven "AZK" Lariviere and Braxton "swag" Pierce after playing alongside the duo on the iBUYPOWER roster that attended the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major. The 28-year-old spent the last season playing for Torqued, who finished in 11th place in ESEA Premier, with an 8-8 record.
GX will take part in the next ESEA Premier season with the following roster:
Braxton "swag" Pierce
Keven "AZK" Lariviere
Shawn "witmer" Taylor
Matt "Pollo" Wilson
Joshua "steel" Nissan
GX decided to replace me with steel for the next season of MDL, the reason stems from a horrible team (cont) https://t.co/HJqpWV0kom
