Former Na`Vi member Denis "seized" Kostin will play for Gambit in ESEA MDL, the PGL Major Krakow champions have announced.

The 23-year-old Russian will replace Bektiyar "⁠fitch⁠" Bahytov, who is unable to play for reasons that have not been specified, with his first match for the Kazakhstani giants scheduled for 21:00 , against aAa.

Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin is currently a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Natus Vincere, at the end of December. He represented FlipSid3 on loan from Na`Vi in online tournaments and then on a short-term basis at ELEAGUE Major Boston, where the team went out 0-3 in the New Challengers Stage.

seized will step in for Gambit in ESEA MDL

Gambit gave a disappointing account of themselves at the Boston Major as they could not retain their Legends status after losing to Quantum Bellator Fire, SK and fnatic in the New Legends Stage. fitch was the team's worst-rated player at the event at 0.76, finishing all five games with below-average ratings.

The Kazakhstani side will take on aAa with the following roster:

-fitch is already going on don't you see that? But they need good leadership. You can't count on dosia to have 2/3 good games. And even IF he does this you wont win tournaments with it. They need a solid IGL so adren can do what he does best. Also they need someone who knows how to use mou and his awp. And lastly hobbit is a young player who needs confidence in his leader. You saw how hard he played when zeus was the IGL. He is kinda inconsistent now. So if they have an IGL who can actually frag but also gains trust and has a system i think gambit can get top 6/7 again.
