Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans is set to depart LDLC, according to a report from Flickshot.fr.

The Belgian in-game leader has been part of LDLC since his departure from G2 in April 2016, when he was replaced on the French squad by Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro and went on to merge bits and pieces of the remainder of then-LDLC White and LDLC Blue lineups.

In over a year and a half with the organization, Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans has been unable to push his new team to new heights, with their biggest achievements coming from lower-tier tournaments such as ESWC 2016 (second place), ESWC 2017 (first place), and more recently Assembly Winter 2018 (second place).

Ex6TenZ is reported to be on his way out of LDLC

Flickshot.fr's report states that LDLC are currently in talks with EnVyUs regarding the signing of Alexandre "⁠xms⁠" Forté, who made way for Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey in Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer's team earlier this month.

"Today, I'm "benched" from LDLC. I absolutely gave all my energy to this project and I can't hide it was two exhausting years. I have been demanding with my players and sometimes I have been very tough with some of them, especially with the firsts versions and it created some resentment, but it was for good reasons...

Lately, I was not agreeing with a lot of things, and I put into question a lot of things aswell. We had past the point of no return obviously. And I'm the one who is kicked. I respect it!"

I know they're not on their best, but the same applies to ex6. It's one of those situations where a player is doing bad and can't prove himself, but his 4 teammates are also doing bad, and some people still think he should join a better team because of his past. I wouldn't like to see him joining tier 1 or 2 teams like G2 or nV when he's not doing anything in the low tier scene. I don't know what's left for him, maybe an international lineup since the other french speaking options left are even weaker than LDLC

I remember watching Thorin's interview with NBK, NBK played with Happy at that moment and he said that Ex6 never listened to anybody else, that Ex6 thought he was the smartest guy that knew everything better than everybody else, that's why everybody hated him as a teammate. The saddest part is that Ex6 still thinks it's not his fault even partially, he thinks he has tried his best, he sees no big mistakes from himself, i.e. he will not fix his shit because he doesn't see anything that should be fixed. It seems to me that he's done, his only way is out of CS:GO, and since he doesn't want to coach, it means he will just retire and leave CS:GO completely. He could teach players what he learned himself, he could help even G2 or nV fix some of their mistakes, but sadly he sees only 1 way - that he should make up stuff and the others should listen to him silently and do exactly what he wants. You're talking like last French shuffle with new G2 and EnvyUs worked out. Literally G2 didn't achieved as much as they came to the day light and instead of that they reached barely better results. They kept failing to reach quarters and mainly the upset chances against teams like SK or FaZe went from low to literally which never made them better than any top 3 or even 4 / 5 team. They built super team that couldn't be consistent at making top 4 finishes and it won't get better in 2018 for sure. What about that? What about the freaking actual fact that EnvyUs was Top 8 team in the same way as G2 at that time? Yes, they both failed to pass groupstage but neither G2 was succesful at that for more than 1 year. Right now you have top 5 team that isn't even close at making it anywhere far and Tier 3 team that actually failed to reach major for 2 years. EnvyUs could barely win against LDLC with players who would never dreamed about to compete in T1 leagues. Ex6TenZ wasn't bad IGL and he proved it with LDLC. His playstyle isn't predictable as G2's or Envy's and that's not even debatable. Shox is and always was toxic, try to take a look at old Epsilon, Envy (when they cut shox). I mean you're either blind or stouned, pal. You took 0 arguments to blame someone, mate. Try your best next time. What does the last shuffle have to do with Ex6? When G2 and nV traded players, Ex6 was already outside both of them. Now lets talk about their results. 1st tournament with the new lineup: bo1 wins vs NiP, HR and SK, bo3 loss to FaZe. Bad? Not at all. 2nd: lost bo1 to C9 but then defeated them and Liquid in bo3, lost to the same Gambit lineup that would win a major. 3rd: 2-1 vs mouz in 1/2, 2-0 vs HR in the final. Nothing really special but nothing bad either. 4th: 2-0 vs SK in 1/2, 3-1 vs North in the final. Anything wrong? 5th: lost to FaZe in the decider & to SK in the opening. FaZe then got to the final and lost 2 OT to SK. What's so bad about it? 6th: defeated SK in the group but failed hard vs Na`Vi. Shit happens. 7th: ok, kind of a slump. 8th: won it, only 2 maps dropped - against IMT (2nd at PGL major) and SK (3-4 at PGL major). 9th: 2-0 vs Na`Vi with major winning Zeus, 0-2 vs future major winners C9. 10th: lost to VP that looked cool at it, defeated Astralis twice. 11th: fail. 12th: lost the group to SK & Astralis. 13th: 3-0 in qualifier, 3-0 in swiss, 0-2 to the major winners. 13 LAN tournaments, 3 won, 2 in top4, 3 fails, the rest lost to T1 teams. Why do you overrate the French scene so much? I mean, Sweden have NiP with legendary players and fnatic with simply strong players, but when they lose to Astralis or SK or FaZe - nobody trashtalks them. Why should G2 be stronger? OK, shox and kennyS, but that's it, while SK has FalleN, cold and fer, FaZe has GuardiaN NiKo rain olofm, so why should G2 be better and how? As for Ex6 - he failed to reach the playoffs at majors having shox&ScreaM, apEX&kennyS, NBK, and after that Happy managed to win majors with these guys (apart from ScreaM), and the only time when Titan sometimes looked strong was when they played with a cheater. After G2 kicked Ex6 they managed to finally fully utilize shox and ScreaM, they pretty much only needed to replace SmithZz with kennyS and I'm 99.9% sure they would become better than they actually became. On the other hand, Ex6's LDLC was as inconsistent as a team can ever be, sometimes defeating some nice teams and then losing to nonamers. G2 was a bright example that Ex6 only limited his players and failed to utilize their best qualities, and then either Happy or shox made them show what they really could. And now read what Ex6 said: blablabla I tried my best. Fuck, you always try to play that strict style and it has been fucking failing since EMS Katowice 2014, so may be it's time to rework your style and give more freedom to your mates and listen to them? No, why? Ex6 is such a genius, he still lives in 2009-2013 when VG was dominant, but it's not CS:S anymore and NiP is not your only rival, his style doesn't work, star players do not like to be robots that do only what he says and how he says to. That's why Ex6 will be picked by neither G2 nor nV like ever.

I swear to fucking god if ex6 was kicked and this isn't because he's going to nv or g2 or something... The entire team was literally ALEX and ex6. They are the only players above t3.
