Luminosity make U-turn; to compete in ESL One Belo Horizonte qualifier
Luminosity have performed a U-turn on their decision to skip the South American closed qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte, ESPN Esports Brasil has revealed.
Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves had announced on Twitter that the team would not be competing in the online qualifier as Luminosity had decided against sending the players back to Brazil so that they could focus on ESL Pro League, ECS and the StarSeries qualifier.
VNS Sushi Rão, Wild and INTZ were already getting prepared to play for Luminosity's spot in the closed qualifier, only to be informed of the team's change of heart.

Luminosity made headlines on Sunday as they recruited Lucas "steel" Lopes from Liquid and coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes from Immortals. The duo will remain in Brazil for now, while the rest of the squad are still in the United States, where they will play the first two matches of the qualifier before travelling back home to compete in the rest of the tournament.
Eight teams will be taking part in the closed qualifier, which will run from April 24 to May 9. Luminosity will take on C4 in the first round of this double-elimination tournament, which will reward the winner with a spot at the $200,000 ESL event.
This means that the team list for the qualifier is once again:
