peacemaker: "I am fully focused on getting back as soon as possible"

After four months on the sidelines, Luis "⁠peacemaker⁠" Tadeu has revealed information about his recent health issues and his impending return to coaching.

In a TwitLonger post, the 30-year-old shared updates on his health problems and touched on being considered for the role of coach in MIBR.

The Brazilian revealed that he has had a bout of "gastritis crisis" as well as "a food poisoning/infection," which broke out while he was living in Copenhagen and coaching HEROIC:

"[...] that gave me a warning that I should be taking care about my health and my mind much more, as I have to admit im too focused on working and achieving my goals, and I kinda left a lot of other important things behind during these last years away from home."

In the TwitLonger post, peacemaker also shared that a doctor suspected he was close to having a heart attack, which turned out to be a misconception.

The Brazilian shared that he is now on medication, has lost weight, and is "close to 100%".

Last week, MIBR took most of the scene by surprise, signing former analyst Janko "⁠YNk⁠" Paunović as their new head coach. While the Serbian ended up being the Brazilian/American team's pick, Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo shared yesterday that the team was also considering peacemaker for the role.

In his TwitLonger post, the Brazilian added that he is thankful for being on the MIBR short list even though he was left out in the end:

"I also would like to make public all my affection, respect and honor to be considered for the spot as well as hear great things about me from one of the people that I most admire in CS and that deserves all the sucess he has. I'd like to congratulate all of them for their strong decision on bringing YNK on board and I really hope they achieve all their goals from now on because they deserve it."

Lastly, peacemaker shared that he has received a "number of proposals" and that he is almost ready to return to coaching, but stressed that he is waiting for the right opportunity:

"Even tho I would love to compete soon, I don't want to make any mistakes on my next choice, but I am fully focused on getting back to the competitive scene as soon as possible."
