HLTV Confirmed episode 4 highlights
We've collected a series of the best clips from episode four of our live talk show 'HLTV Confirmed', which focused on the FACEIT Major so far, and also featured an interview with the inactive G2 player Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt.
Airing on Monday, HLTV Confirmed's fourth episode was full of in-depth analysis and discussion about the FACEIT Major's New Legends Stage as well as a look at the playoffs starting on Thursday.
For those of you who haven't had the chance to watch the full episode, we've collected a bundle of clips from the show for your viewing pleasure.

As a special guest, we invited the self-proclaimed 'professional benchwarmer', currently benched G2 member Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, who joined us from his home in Austria. The FACEIT Major marks the first time the 24-year-old Frenchman isn't competing in a Major, which means he has been watching from home and thus had some thoughts about the format as a viewer and CS:GO-fan.
One of the most-discussed topics of the event so far is the format, which for the group stage used a Swiss-style, Buchholz-assisted system to decide the matchups. Many feel that the format, combined with best-of-one matches (apart from the 2-2 games on Sunday), meant that some teams had an 'unfair route' to the playoffs.
Some also point to the 'randomness' of best-of-ones, but NBK- had the following message to those who would say that bo1's don't work at a Major:
It's easy to forget that the 24-year-old Frenchman is not actually at the Major, since he attended every one of them up until this one. This was touched upon in the show, as the panel asked NBK- what he felt about a tweet put out by HellRaisers player Özgür "woxic" Eker, who had seemingly forgot that the French benchwarmer wasn't present in London:
As he revealed on HLTV Confirmed, though, NBK- and woxic are good friends, and the Frenchman even revealed that he's once made the same mistake about Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg at an earlier Major:
Touching upon his absence from CS, the panel asked NBK- why he didn't use the spare time to work as an analyst at events, since his knowledge of the game potentially could net him some interesting jobs in that regard. The 24-year-old revealed that he has actually been offered such opportunities, but that he has a policy of declining them:
As the show always takes questions from the Twitch chat while live, something that most users wanted to know was whether it is in fact true that NBK- will be playing with Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer, Cédric "RpK" Guipouy and the young French talent Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut as it was reported by VPesports.com in mid-August. The Frenchman repeatedly said he can't comment on such rumours, or indeed disclose anything about his future, but ZywOo did come up as a Twitch user wanted to know who NBK- thinks is the biggest talent in France right now:
Closing out the live stream, the panel did the Pick'Em Challenge for the New Champions Stage of the Major. For inspiration (or perhaps an example of what not to do) regarding picks for the Top 8 teams, you can view how the Pick'Em Challenge unfolded live on stream right here:
