Vitality to expand into CS:GO; target NBK's new team - report

French organisation Vitality are looking to expand into CS:GO with the signing of a new team spearheaded by Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt, VPEsports.com reports.

Vitality reportedly plan to expand their esports footprint even further and are believed to be locked in negotiations with G2 over benched duo NBK- and Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire, and with aAa over star player Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut.

Rounding out the roster are Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer and Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy, both of whom are free agents after being released by Envy, back in June.

According to VPEsports, negotiations between Vitality and the other two organisations "are moving in the right direction", with an agreement reportedly close at hand.

NBK- & co reportedly close to joining Vitality

The team will be coached by Philippe "⁠faculty⁠" Rodier, who played for teams like eSport-Eu, aAa and eXtensive in 1.6. In recent years, he has written books on esports and on the impact of coaching in football.

Vitality are one of the most successful esports organisations in France, with players competing in multiple games. Their League of Legends team will compete at this year's World Championship, in South Korea, as the second European seed after amassing the most championship points throughout the 2018 season.

If confirmed, Vitality's roster will look as follows:

And we saw even in 2016 how things went badly for Happy Happy is done as Igl and if he is in the team the only role i could see is lurking but even then i doubt that he would be usefull. He had some bad matches at the start adapting to the highest level of play but he was their 2nd best player overall that year and had the highest LAN rating.
