Gambit open to offers for AdreN

Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev has been moved to a backup position and placed on the transfer list, Gambit have announced.

The 28-year-old becomes the second Gambit player to be allowed to seek pastures new, following in the footsteps of compatriot Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov, who was placed on the transfer list last month.

AdreN, one of the most experienced players in the CIS region, has been on Gambit's books since January 2016, when his team, featuring three-fifths of the current line-up, signed for the UK-based organisation.

Gambit ready to listen to offers for AdreN

He played a key role in Gambit's victories at DreamHack Open Austin 2017, PGL Major Krakow and ROG Masters, breaking into the top 20 player of the year ranking for the first time in his career.

"It is time for a change, both for him and our CS:GO roster," Gambit CGO Konstantin Pikiner said in a statement.

"With that in mind, we support his decision to prove himself in another team, possibly in another region."

Gambit have over a month to find two players to complete their line-up as they will make their next LAN appearance only at the end of November, at the $150,000 SuperNova CS:GO Malta.

Yeah he started having to call at the start of when Zeus left, which rekt his game. By the time IGL was taken from him, the team was already a disgrace and although adren is good, he’s not a s1mple style carry player so he isn’t gonna put the team on his back like a s1mple before electronic or electronic himself in f3. Adren is a smart, cerebral clutch style player, exactly what navi needs. Edward isn’t even a bad player as a whole, he’s just not got the right mindset to be a support, which is proven by the points I laid out in #92.

edward's position in the team is as a fragger, but he isn't good enough to be in that position. he doesn't have the mindset to be a support player because he was such a great star player for so long. watch any of his recent vods and you see that he rarely supports his teammates and meanwhile is making boneheaded plays that lose rounds, unacceptable for a 15+ year veteran of the game.
