WESG World Finals viewer's guide

With the WESG World Finals set to kick off on Monday, we bring you a comprehensive viewer's guide which includes everything you need to know about this $890,000 event.

The tournament will take place in Chongqing, China where 27 teams will battle it out on March 11-17. The original team list included 32 teams but five sides have decided to withdraw from the tournament for a myriad of reasons, including visa issues and scheduling.

The round-robin, best-of-two group stage will be played out in the first two days at the Athestel Hotel Chongqing, with the top two sides from each group advancing to the playoffs set to take place at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center.

This year's WESG will feature 27 teams

The playoffs will use a best-of-three, single-elimination format, culminating in a grand final on Sunday. There will also be a third-place decider earlier that day.

The groups for the event look as follows:

Group C
Brazil MIBR
Poland AGO

I don't get these viewers guides, at least give some information about the teams, like these nonamers, who can show up, have their moments etc. Like this its a little boring:/

Are you stupid? This is to show viewers at which time the matches are supposed to be played so you can plan accordingly if you want to watch something

Top two still advance to the playoffs. So MIBR and AGO are already in the playoffs, for example. They will just play to determine who takes 1st place in the group.

if MIBR won't win this event ,it's gonna be bigger shame than 7-1.Literally they're only top 10 team in this event.Fnatic and G2 are only good teams that they can face.

I don't think you've seen IEM Katowice. ENCE overrun NaVi and Liquid wich are the top 2 and 3 in the world. So never underestimate the underdogs in these kind of tournaments.

Yeah I really can't see anyone other than MIBR winning. If they don't, it would be a catastrophic failure for that lineup.
