GamerLegion has announced the addition of Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman, who fills the vacant spot left after the benching of Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans.

The European squad were down to four players following the benching of the Belgian in-game leader on Thursday, with dennis now filling the vacant spot to complete the lineup again.

The Swede had been sitting on the sidelines since mid-June, having been benched in Ninjas in Pyjamas just two months after returning from a personal break to make room for Nicolas "⁠Plopski⁠" Gonzalez Zamora.

HLTV.org has learned that the 28-year-old has since been released from his contract with the legendary organization, which made him free to join GamerLegion without a buyout being necessary.

dennis's debut with his new team will be at the €100,000 Good Game League tournament taking place in Poznan, Poland, on July 13-14, where GamerLegion have been drawn in Group A featuring HellRaisers, Tricked, and Aristocracy.

"Excited to bring on a player of dennis' caliber, with his firepower, experience and difference-making abilities we will be able to cement ourselves as a top team moving into the second half of 2019," GamerLegion's manager, Joel "Bonafide" Ericsson, said in a statement.

"I’m happy that he sees the potential in our team and believes that this roster has what it takes to lift trophies and top the rankings."

GamerLegion now have the following lineup:

You pretty much answered your own statement. Dennis is much better then Ex6TenZ in terms of firepower, Hampus used to igl so he will pick it up again.

I like this team, but sadly for them naawk will not remain long. The guy clearly is a top tier player and will be picked up before too long. I always have high hopes for these lower tier teams but their top players will always get bought out and make it to where they never move up to the next level. I'd love to see ScreaM get back to tier 1 CS but I doubt it will ever happen.
