Sharks add meyern; nak transferred to RED Canids

Sharks have bought out up-and-comer Ignacio "⁠meyern⁠" Meyer from his contract with Isurus, filling one of two vacant spots in the lineup, the organization has announced. Meanwhile, Renato "⁠nak⁠" Nakano has been transferred to RED Canids to replace Leonardo "⁠LeoGOD⁠" Silva.

Sharks' lineup was depleted to just three players when the team benched Rodrigo "⁠RCF⁠" Figueiredo and nak, splitting up the lineup that had stuck together for nearly a year and a half.

meyern comes in to fill one of the vacancies, leaving his former team Isurus following an eight months long stint with the Argentinian side, whom he helped maintain a spot in ESL Pro League Americas and qualify for DreamHack Masters Dallas, most notably beating Complexity at the former event and taking a map off Renegades at the latter.

Sharks made a move for 16-year-old meyern

The 16-year-old joins Sharks ahead of the team's planned move to North America in September, with their fifth player yet to be revealed.

"Nacho has been our number one choice since day one. There was no one we wanted more than him, we are absolutely delighted to have such a big talent on our side. We decided to make this change in order to climb the ranks and be consistently in the top tournaments, and meyern puts us one step closer to this objective for sure," coach Hélder "⁠coachi⁠" Sancho told HLTV.org.

"We would also like to thank Isurus for the smooth negotiations and all the professionalism."

Meanwhile, veteran nak has been transferred to RED Canids to become the Brazilian team's new captain, replacing LeoGOD in the lineup, which only leaves RCF on Sharks' transfer list.

Sharks did a heavy blow to the argentinian scene, Isurus should make team with 1962, JoNyBoY, NikoM, reversive & Luken, it would be even better than old Isurus. As for Sharks they should get hardzao before MIBR and they would be very good, i sense this isn't the right choice for meyern but i hope he does well he is very good. If things go like is said it would both team would be TOP50 guaranteed and TOP30 potential.

They don't have much better candidate low coast / free agent in Brazil right now. Brazillian teams in general can have a huge buyout fee, some shit like 700x the salary per month or soem, shit long ass contracts, and many player against a decent salary will accept this conditions. FURIA signed 5 years contracts, trk is too high for the risk for MIBR according to sources same with the whole W7M or the Sharks lineup who even recently changed players, cold benched himself, felps just got cut, HEN1 is an AWPer, boltz isn't being tried because they want new players, they don't even want to trial KHTEX ( prob because of his role not beig compatible with having fer), v$m is banned, shz was dissapointing in NA, fnx is retired. Among all of that there is two last decent candidates, the first one is vito, but buy due to teh orrg history with him, all the bad image and shit coupled to the fact he is a primary AWPer just like FalleN who is so good with it he will not ebcome an hybrid. This means it's likely kNg becomes an hybrid just like he was in IMT doing some entry : hltv.org/stats/players/5736/kNgV-?teamId.. His perf here was wayyyyyyyyyyyy less impressive than how good he is in BR lineups as a primary AWPer.
