100 Thieves pull out of DreamHack Open Winter
The highest-ranked team announced for DreamHack Open Winter 2019, 100 Thieves, pulled out of the tournament, with a replacement yet to be announced.
DreamHack Open Winter 2019 will take place on November 29 - December 1 in the famed Elmia Convention center in Jönköping, Sweden, with eight teams competing in the standard DreamHack format for a $100,000 prize pool. The team list was set, with 100 Thieves headlining it as the fifth-best team in the world, but it has now been announced that they will not be able to attend the event.

DreamHack Open Winter overlaps with the finals of ECS Season 8, a league 100 Thieves did not participate in this season, and ends shortly before the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals in Odense, which is a 5-hour drive from Jönköping. 100 Thieves have not revealed why they decided to skip the event, nor have DreamHack yet revealed the replacement for the Australian team.
