Secret have announced the benching of 20-year-old Rigon "⁠rigoN⁠" Gashi due to "a busy education schedule", leaving the team with four players on their active roster.

The team most recently utilized Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer as a stand-in for rigoN during their DreamHack Open Anaheim qualifier run, which was cut short early on as the team fell in the round of 128. Secret also took part in the qualifier for DreamHack Open Leipzig, managing to attain a spot in the closed stage before suffering a narrow 1-2 defeat to HEROIC to be eliminated.

rigoN is taking a step back to focus on his studies

Happy was officially cut from the active roster of LDLC on January 19th as the organization announced the signing of Avengers, signaling the end of his nine-month tenure as a part of the French team. Secret members Dionis "⁠sinnopsyy⁠" Budeci and Flatron "⁠juanflatroo⁠" Halimi were among a number of players who played alongside Happy on LDLC during 2019, with his release from the organization now leaving a possible reunion in the cards.

rigoN has been a part of Secret since the roster was first signed at the end of November, averaging a 0.98 rating as the team took part the aforementioned DreamHack Leipzig qualifier, the IEM Katowice 2020 qualifiers, and LOOT.BET Season 5.

It is troubling news when an org signs a player that isn't even able to commit to the lineup more than a month and a half. What were they thinking in the first place I wonder. How are they ever supposed to improve if they already have changes, at the minimum the lineup needed 4 months just to go over their basics... Not looking good for their future

Idk i mean, this is a aspect i´ve been thinking alot, how long do people intend to be pros? I would say max age is 30 (with some exceptions ofcourse) but what do you do afterwards? You surely didnt earn enough to not work for 50 more years, and if you dont have a good school degree you wont get a job either School is important even if its a pro
