Illuminar unveil new roster featuring Snax

The Polish team Illuminar has announced their lineup for the coming months, signing Mikołaj "⁠mouz⁠" Karolewski, Arek "⁠Vegi⁠" Nawojski, and Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski to the roster.

Illuminar are currently ranked #57 in the world, but still hold the title of the second-best team in Poland behind AGO (#41). The team started to shuffle its roster in February as Oskar "⁠oskarish⁠" Stenborowski and Daniel "⁠STOMP⁠" Płomiński were benched, after which the team was spotted practicing with Michał "⁠snatchie⁠" Rudzki and Karol "⁠rallen⁠" Rodowicz.

Snax will be representing Illuminar moving forward

In the end, Illuminar settled on a vastly different lineup. Only Paweł "⁠innocent⁠" Mocek and Paweł "⁠reatz⁠" Jańczak will remain from the roster that was signed in July 2019, with Snax being the big name to join the lineup. The team has been finalized with another former Virtus.pro player, Vegi, and mouz who has been looking for new offers since ARCY disbanded.

Dropping from the roster are Grzegorz "⁠jedqr⁠" Jędras and Michał "⁠mono⁠" Gabszewicz, who will take a place on Illuminar's bench.

TF are you talking about Frenchies may be the drama queens but they have 2 teams in top 10 since 2014, and a deep pool of up and coming players, dreaming to get the place in G2 or Vitality. That is incomparable to the Polish "scene" where everyone is indeed washed up and recycled

Zywoo and misuta? Thats 2 man. They keep swapping washed up players for another washed up players. G2 is being led and carried by slovakian and bosnian. Poland has "deep pool of up and coming players" too , unfortunately nowadays is very hard to become a pro player , its kind of a closed circle where orgs keep bringing back washed up players rather than give a chance to the youngsters. And the youngsters focus too much on pugs and their aim and too little on communication and team play. We see all the time nutty players like docc , monesy and so on - great aimers ,but lack of brain and team play.

Bro, I am not downplaying his achievments, but they tried to make rosters around him It didn't work in Mouz, then it didn't work in VP. They were not the best team even in Poland. And then, for example, they miss qualification for Minor. I feel there are some discipline and motivation issues.

I mean the trio of Snax, innocent and reatz is absolutely fine, but i don't like the idea of getting mouz and Vegi, because both of these players were playing bad through the last couple of months. So i would build a new lineup around the trio of Snax, innocent and reatz, and as a last two i would choose Markoś and KEi. I don't think Snax should be the main AWPer, that's why i choosed Markoś, and KEi is the young talent, i think he would add a lot of firepower to the team. So my final roster would hold : Snax reatz KEi innocent Markoś I think that it's much better roster.
