dennis to continue stand-in stint with Apeks

Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman will continue his stand-in stint with Apeks in the Home Sweet Home Cup 3 and in BLAST Rising, the organization has announced.

The Swede will stay with the team for up to two more weeks as Apeks are still one man short, having placed Haakon "⁠Radifaction⁠" Tholo on the bench in late April after a string of unsatisfactory results.

dennis first stood in for Apeks during the Elisa Invitational, in which the Norwegian side missed out on a spot at the BLAST Spring Showdown after going out in the deciding semi-finals following a loss to ENCE.

dennis extends his stint with Apeks for two more tournaments

The team have already begun their campaign in Home Sweet Home Cup 3, where they are part of Group A alongside Virtus.pro, AVEZ, and Sprout. An opening overtime loss to the CIS-based squad earlier on Tuesday has placed them in the elimination match, where they'll face the loser of the Polish-German matchup.

BLAST's new Rising tournament, intended for up-and-coming teams, has also commenced, with Apeks set to play out Group C with FATE, Japaleno, and Movistar Riders on Wednesday.

Apeks' lineup for the two tournaments looks as follows:

Apeks came very close to beating NiP in a BO3 just a while a go. Definately not saying they are better than them, but the difference is not that big. Judging by his performance this far he doesnt seem to outperform any of the other apeks-players, far from it. In my opinion its a good scene for him to try to prove he has still got it.

On paper dennis is atleast a tier above where Apeks is so if they came close to beating them then with a firepower upgrade (in theory) they should be able to beat them, or come close. Not defending dennis or Apeks I just think that's more what he meant

Dennis had the worst time with lineups after fnatic, nip was good but then the shit storm started for him which does not look like it would be over soon He should get picked up in some tier 2 team atleast
