RED Canids down to three as nak departs

Following Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau parting ways with the team, RED Canids announced they have ended their cooperation with another Brazilian veteran in Renato "⁠nak⁠" Nakano.

The 32-year-old nak joined RED Canids after representing Sharks from August 2017 to July 2019, leading them to a fourth-place finish at the Americas Minor ahead of the StarLadder Major. His success in RED Canids has been limited, though, with the bright point being winning the Americas Minor Closed qualifier in April.

Another veteran has left RED Canids

The removals of nak and fnx hint at RED Canids looking to rejuvenate their lineup with younger players, however, little was shared in terms of the reason behind the departure of the former CS 1.6 player from the roster.

RED Canids earned 1300 RMR points earlier in May after a fourth-place finish in ESL One: Road to Rio - South America, but will only keep 780 of them due to the 40% penalty that follows the removal of two players.

But in RED Canids he is playing absolutely nuts. He can win games solo. RED Canids with this trio has huge potential, but if they fail I'm sure he will find a good team where he will shine.

That's the point tho, he always plays well here in Brazil. He was one of the best brazilian players in SA back in 2017 I think. When going internationally he plays like a bot, honestly.

The only way to nak be in MiBR is as a coach like the LG days, but that’s improblable as FalleN doesn’t work well with others. Other point is that Trump closed borders with Brazil, so no player os going to NA at least for 14 days. It’s likely that those free agent players make part of BR teams
