LDLC bench LOGAN and Gringo

LDLC have announced the benching of Logan "⁠LOGAN⁠" Corti and Kilian "⁠Gringo⁠" Garcia amid rumors of Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro and Aurélien "⁠afro⁠" Drapier joining the team.

LDLC's announcement that LOGAN and Gringo have been moved to the bench comes just days after French coverage site VaKarM ran a report stating that bodyy and afro could be on their way to joining the aforementioned organization.

The current changes in LDLC come five months after the new lineup was presented at the beginning of the year. Built around the only remaining player from the previous team, Christophe "⁠SIXER⁠" Xia, the roster revamp marked the return of LOGAN, who had previous stints in the French organization, and the signing of Gringo, a largely unknown figure at the time.

Two other players that are not affected by the current changes and will continue on the active roster moving forward were also added to the team at the time, Ali "⁠hAdji⁠" Haïnouss and Lambert "⁠Lambert⁠" Prigent.

LOGAN and Gringo have been sidelined by LDLC

LDLC started the year off with a second-place finish at ASUS ROG Winter 2020 in February, losing only to HAVU in the final, but have since then had middling results, most recently missing out on several Home Sweet Home cups after falling out in the closed qualifiers.

Other results include a 13-16th place in Hellcase Cup 8, a 5-6th in SECTOR: MOSTBET Season 3, and a 3-4th place in the French ESL Championnat National, where they lost to Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon's TheDice in the semi-finals.

The French squad are also fighting for promotion in ESEA Advanced, where they currently hold a 4-0 record, and are scheduled to play their next match on Monday, June 1.
