TYLOO defeat ViCi to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 12

TYLOO swept ViCi in the ESL Pro League Season 12 Asia Qualifier grand final to secure a spot in ESL’s flagship league.

TYLOO came into the ESL Pro League Season 12 Asia Qualifier grand final with a map advantage, as they proceeded through the upper bracket without taking a loss, which they did without dropping a map in either of their two upper bracket matches against Invictus and ViCi.

After their loss to TYLOO, Zhuo "⁠advent⁠" Liang’s men made their way to the grand final with a victory over Invictus in the consolidation final, but were unable to take revenge against their countrymen as they fell 0-3 and TYLOO claimed the qualifier's single spot in the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 12.

ViCi got off to a 3-0 start on the CT side of Mirage, but TYLOO equalized as soon as their economy allowed for rifles to be in play, going further and doubling down, 6-3. Finding the cracks in the defense, YuLun "⁠Summer⁠" Cai and company ramped up the pressure and gave up only one more round in the half, ending 11-4.

The second pistol round was an absolute fiasco for ViCi, as they allowed Zhenghao "⁠DANK1NG⁠" Lv to clutch a 1vs3 with low health. TYLOO then went up 13-4 with the anti-ecos before a quad-kill by ZhiHong "⁠aumaN⁠" Liu put his team back on the board. On the attacking side ViCi started to mount a comeback, reaching 9-14, but TYLOO then won a clean round defending the B site to hit match point, which they were able to convert on two rounds later.

TYLOO didn't drop a map on the way to ESL Pro League Season 12

TYLOO won the CT pistol round on Inferno, but were unable to stop a B rush against the forcebuy. ViCi then let go of a crucial round when up 2-1 against a pistol buy, which put Summer and company right back in the game. Despite the blunder, ViCi kept up the aggression, only allowing their opponents to win odd rounds on their way to a 7-3 lead. TYLOO then scrambled and turned things around, going on a tear to win the last five and turn it around, 8-7.

TYLOO extended their lead on the attacking side by winning the pistol round, but ViCi answered immediately to keep their hopes alive as they tied it up 11-11 early on in the second half. From there on out they started to lose steam, however, as TYLOO took control on the offense to go on and close the map and match out, ending the tournament without losing a map and booking their ticket to the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 12.

not cool when Vici gotta qualify and then play a BO5 with the opposition starting with a map advantage all in the same day. Also , how long till Kaze gets saved by some NA org ? Its taking too damn long and guy is getting his years wasted stuck in this Asian scene.

Thanks and wow, he actually speaks very well. He could land into NA, especially seeing that Gen.G gamble on Bntet has worked out so far and other teams could take that as an example of a player from Asian region working well into NA CS

Bntet wasn't interested in moving out either. His family and he himself were concerned about how he would be able to accommodate himself out there alone if he did decided to move but a trip to MA with his brother changed his view and he decided to take up GenG's offer. I do agree that Kazes age doesn't support his cause.

Yeah actually I had the same feeling at first, but sometimes tyloo just lost to some random teams like OneThree, BTRG and LVG... it’s hard to figure out whether tyloo is throwing or just being bad. Anyway the team atmosphere seemed to be pretty decent, and that’s rare but crucial for tyloo.
