Sprout, North qualify for DreamHack Open Fall
The German team had a flawless run in the upper bracket, while the Danes had to work hard to win their semi-final clash against Endpoint.
Sprout and North are the first two teams to progress to DreamHack Open Fall through the closed qualifier, with three more spots up for grabs via the lower bracket In the next two days.
Sprout fought through the upper bracket without dropping a map, securing 2-0 victories over FATE, Heretics and SAW to lock down a spot in the main tournament, with Paweł "dycha" Dycha leading the charge by averaging a 1.32 rating across the three series.
Meanwhile, North faced off against Endpoint following convincing two-map wins versus Tricked and AVEZ. Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's men were pressured early on after conceding the opening map, but the Danish squad were able to recompose and reverse sweep the European side to claim a 2-1 scoreline, and will now meet Sprout in the upper bracket final for seeding.

Eight teams have already been eliminated from the closed qualifier after defeat in the lower bracket, including Complexity, who were forced to field coach Jamie "keita" Hall in place of the recently-benched Owen "oBo" Schlatter.
