device secures first MVP with NIP at IEM Fall Europe

The Dane has won more MVPs than any other player, with the one from the RMR tournament being the 19th of his career.

Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz in prime form propelled Ninjas in Pyjamas to their first notable trophy since IEM Oakland 2017 and in turn earned himself the highest individual accolade — the MVP award by HLTV & Bitskins.

With a 1.35 rating across 15 maps played, device was a standout player at the event, and his good showings were crucial to Ninjas in Pyjamas as he posted a positive K-D in every map his team won.

device again has three MVPs more than s1mple

The 26-year-old stood out in a number of statistical categories at IEM Fall Europe, ranking top 5 in terms of Rating, Kills Per Round, Opening Kills Per Round, AWP Kills Per Round, Deaths Per Round, and more. device's main competitors for the title of the Most Valuable Player were Vitality's Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut, and ENCE's Paweł "⁠dycha⁠" Dycha and Lotan "⁠Spinx⁠" Giladi.

By winning the 19th MVP of his career, his first one since the start of the year and moving to Ninjas in Pyjamas, device has extended solidified his position as the player with most MVPs won. By winning five in 2021 and reaching 16 in total, Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev has closed in on the Dane's record, but the gap has again been increased after IEM Fall.
