PGL Major Stockholm 2021G2 outmatch FaZe; Copenhagen Flames dismantle Evil Geniuses
Round 2 of the Legends Stage began with two short matches.
G2 sent FaZe to the 1-1 pool after dominating on Mirage 16-7. Nemanja "nexa" Isaković 's squad continued their good form, building on their victory against Copenhagen Flames earlier today to earn their spot in the 2-0 pool.
Evil Geniuses were outclassed for the second time today after falling apart 2-16 on Nuke against Copenhagen Flames. Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's team was unable to shake off the loss against FaZe earlier today and are now relegated to the 0-2 pool, facing a best-of-three elimination match.
FaZe failed to carry their momentum into their second match of the day. G2 completely outplayed Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad in the first half, turning a 2-4 deficit into a nine-round winning streak following an incredible round 7 from Nikola "NiKo" Kovač in which he took down three FaZe members with the Deagle. G2 only conceded three more rounds in the second half before taking Mirage 16-7.

Copenhagen Flames did not take any prisoners on Nuke as they rolled over Evil Geniuses without taking the foot off the gas. The Danes quickly earned a 6-0 lead to which the North Americans were only able to respond with two rounds of their own before the Flames began a ten-round winning streak to swiftly close the game 16-2.
