The organisation has promised that further news about the 2022 roster is coming soon.

MAD Lions have announced the moving of star AWPer Volodymyr "⁠Woro2k⁠" Veletniuk and rifler Pere "⁠sausol⁠" Solsona Saumell to the inactive roster via their Twitter account.

The news has generated much speculation for the reasoning behind the benchings, seeing as MAD Lions enjoyed a fruitful 2021 once Johannes "⁠b0RUP⁠" Borup had been added to the team in August.

Woro2k will surely not be short of suitors

The team managed to climb all the way to a peak ranking of #21, the organisation's highest placement since Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand, Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali and Rasmus "⁠sjuush⁠" Beck left earlier in the year, taking some impressive scalps along the way, beating teams such as OG and MOUZ.

Woro2k in particular has been a rising star, having posted an impressive 1.16 rating across the last twelve months and looking like the team's best player. sausol sports a more modest 1.05 rating, but that places him in the middle of the pack statistically amongst his former teammates.

That leaves MAD Lions as:
