allu and Twista return with new lineup

The ex-ENCE duo come back to action with a newly-assembled Finnish squad.

Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli and Slaava "⁠Twista⁠" Räsänen have teamed up to form a new team from their home region, calling upon a mix of young and experienced talent to tackle the European circuit. The veteran AWPer will be joined in his new adventure by ex-HAVU sharpshooter Lasse "⁠ZOREE⁠" Uronen, Olli "⁠oopee⁠" Piispanen, as well as the ex-SJ pair of Tuomas "⁠SADDYX⁠" Louhimaa and Tony "⁠arvid⁠" Niemelä.

In an interview with pelaajat.com, coach Twista talked about the composition of the new lineup and his return to coaching following the expiration of his 15-month ESIC ban. The ex-ENCE coach will be joined by Mikko "⁠xartE⁠" Välimaa to round out the team's coaching staff.

Twista and allu will be reunited in "temp"

The new project has no backing behind them yet, with Twista stating that the squad is in discussion with a few organizations. "We want to think carefully about who we are going to take the project forward with, so that the goals are sure to fit together. In practice, we are open to offers until we come out with the organization."

Head coach Twista only recently announced his intention to come back to coaching following the lifting of his ban in early February. The 34-year old and ENCE parted ways in 2021, with the coach remaining inactive in the scene ever since.

Similarly, allu has been on the sidelines since his decision to take a step back in May 2021, only recently coming back to competition with Complexity as a stand-in following Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev's departure from the organization. Twista announced that the 29-year old AWPer will be sharing the 'big green' with ZOREE, comparing the dynamic between the two to the one between allu and Elias "⁠Jamppi⁠" Olkkonen in ENCE.

The team will feature SADDYX and arvid, with the latter acting as the in-game leader. The duo was part of SJ until the organization decided to part ways with its roster at the very end of 2021. To round out the roster will be oopee, with the rifler having recently departed hREDS.

Under the name temp, the squad will compete with the following lineup:

I would much more trust the judgement of actual professionals than some hltv user. If G2 wanted Aleksi, then they have thought that he is a good IGL. Also, measuring IGL's is kind of stupid in the first place, as it is not as simple as ranking players in general. Team dynamics and cohesion is a complicated matter and a bad leader for one team can be a great leader for some other group.

That would make sense but ENCE dropped from #4 in the world to DEAD team right after the aleksib removal, their last notable achivement was top 8 at the Berlin major in 2019 and that was their last tournament with aleksib. They added Miikka "suNny" Firepower in place of aleksib, which by your logic would've turned the team better, it didn't though, i wonder why.

conquer is overhyped, only jimpphat and choco good. myltsi can be good but jerppa for example is very weird player, in faceit hes beast constantly dueling hs machine, in conquer hes hiding in 5 smokes before he shoots, very bad in conquer so far, too scared. elferm puts more time in work than in csgo and it shows, he cant read the game well, cool strats and stuff but no mid round reading at all.

No but as of right now you need 20 points on the hltv ranking for top 50 which is not alot. The ranking also seems pretty broken for completely new teams so I am guessing even if they go 0 - 3 in either pinnacle or elisa inational they will most likely get top 50.

Well if we look at Gorillaz they where invited to pretty much every single event they participated in (acording to HLTV) so I'd say this team is in a simillar starting point as they where. And in my opinion from watching most finnish casts of pro games when Twista is co-caster/analyst I think his takes on the game are quite good on many situations that I don't really undestand without his explaination of it aswell as countless interviews I have seen of AlexiB, Allu and Xseven I think most of them really gave alot of credit for Ence's 2019 success to Twista and in my opinion a good coach is probably the most vital part of any team. Aswell as they have good player like ZOREE (I am actually questioning why HAVU dropped him) aswell as allu and SADDYX. The other two though idk anything about but XARTE GOD assistant coach seems good.

The point is that this team is terrible now, has quite a low chance of improving and other than saddyx does little to develop the scene in terms of talent development. If the Last Dance project is bad for being a project with no future just meant to cash out fans of a old team (LG/SK) this is even worse because other than allu all the players have achieved nothing so a last dance to delay their inevitable retirement is little more than useless unless you want to go nostalgic over the old ENCE who didn't achieve shit and were a meme.

I think #192 goes the way I agree as his proposal is for a team with both young and old which is something I agree with as they would serve as mentors not the engine of the team. This version is however not that being much less exciting with an older avg age, lower firepower, less development, lower peak form which to me makes the project dead on arrival. I doubt this is gonna go anywhere but if Allu continues his old playstyle at least the few matches they will play are going to be entertaining. Not holding my breath though. Still furious that my man Zehn is held hostage by the chinese and unable to play. The only Finnish player besides xseven and aleksib with any value in any serious top 30 roster. - Sergej lost, - sunny wat doing, - Aerial pulling great clutches but other than that very unreliable, - ottond is the new old god/bot allu: either missing 5 consecutive clear shots or pulling insane flicks, no inbetween. - Allu playing entertaining game but no chance in top 50 teams - no idea what sergej brother doing - rest are more or less randoms

I'd rather see Zehn at some international roster where he has chance to rake some money still before retiring. Also, hopefully Jimpphat proves his worth well so he would also get chance in some international roster so we don't lose him too. I bet it would kill his love for the game if needs to carry trash alone.
