00NATION have once again dropped a majority of their lineup.

After a nine-month run on 00NATION, Vinicius "⁠vsm⁠" Moreira has been benched from the majority Brazilian lineup, the organization announced on Monday. The 22-year-old joined alongside the O PLANO squad that was signed by the Norwegian organization in September of 2021.

Following a period of disappointment, 00NATION overhauled their lineup with the additions of Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David, Santino "⁠try⁠" Rigal, and Mario "⁠malbsMd⁠" Samayoa at the start of 2022. Despite the addition of many promising players, the team failed to qualify for the PGL Antwerp Major and returned to the drawing board.

vsm was 00NATION's tied highest rated player at the Americas RMR

vsm joins both Leonardo "⁠leo_drk⁠" Oliveira and malbsMd on the bench, with the other two players moving to the bench in the past two months. Combined with the departure of head coach João "⁠righi⁠" Righi, 00NATION is left with only two players on their active lineup.

According to a report from Dust2.br, 00NATION are targeting multiple players from the current GODSENT roster, including Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo and Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer. GODSENT are currently set to compete in the upcoming ESL Challenger Valencia.

People saying Cold "killed" 2 teams, but in reality he is upgrading a team that was stucked in tier 2 with players of an already dead team (00), of course its impossible to predict the future, but I don't see how this move can be bad for Br scene, sure maybe this new line doesn't work, but its a fair attempt to get another tier 1 brazilian team (as the current 00 and Godsent failed to do so) and the players left out will have a chance of joining a new team potentially better than the one they left
