Natus Vincere come back against G2 to move forward in Copenhagen

The second 30-round game of the day goes the way of the CIS roster.

Natus Vincere are through to the consolidation final of BLAST Premier Fall Groups after beating G2 16-14 on Mirage. The loss leaves a sour taste in the mouths of G2, who finish bottom of Group B in their debut event with their new roster.

Natus Vincere will now go head-to-head against Complexity in an opening round rematch for a chance to secure a place in the Group B finals.

G2 started their defensive effort cleanly, drumming up an opening 6-0 lead thanks to an overpowering individual performance from Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač. An aggressive play in Middle by Natus Vincere in the seventh round caught their opponent's off-guard, enabling the Ukrainian side to finally get the ball rolling as they brought the score back to 8-5. A war of timeouts soon ensued and G2 was able to use this to pull ahead, snatching the remaining two rounds to post a comfortable 10-5 lead at half-time.

Natus Vincere began the tall order of mounting their comeback attempt at the start of the second half as Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov and company brought the map to within two, at 12-10. Consistently strong retakes by Natus Vincere followed, enough to allow the CIS side to take the lead for the first time and go 15-13 up. Summing up Natus Vincere's whole CT side, the Ukrainian roster completed the 4v3 retake on B site in the final round to complete the comeback and move on in the event.

Why did Jks do so well in Faze? Karrigan knew how to utilize him well giving him roles he could actually play These eggplants at G2 have no intention of working to bring out his true potential and only bought him cause they thought he'd bring out instant frags like he did in Katowice, instead choosing to focus on coddling NiKo and M0nesy

This and the fact that JKS is having to play roles he isn't comfortable with. I saw multiple times in the match where he was first death despite how he should be lurking. Didn't watch the entire match so I'm not entirely sure, but I'm 90% sure HooXi forced him to play entry to make more space for NiKo

I mean I would be concerned already anyway jks isn't playing is best spots, HooXi is being abused and it took literally a day for it to happen, it isn't even a fixable issue since hes just so bad individually and the scoreboard basically looked as it should with m0nesy/NiKo 1/2 huNter 3 jks 4 and HooXi 5 NiKo and m0nesy both had 25+ kills each and they still lost as well, if that isn't concerning then idk what is

G2's problem is uncertainty during some out-of-plan moments. solution is ez - just work through it more thoroughly, each strat, step by step, leave as less as possible for improvisation, so players will not be under such pressure also, practice aim @ jks_and_hooxi @monesy should find better balance between flow and structure, i mean dont stop with flicks (just be more consistent), but play more chill, while keeping the flow going

Almost everyone in this thread is mental. What is problem with jks? He played his first two maps after katowice and had one awesome map, on other one was bad, but give man time. Then hooxie had ok performance, especially against navi, but again he is igl in new team he needs time. Can someone here undrestand that when you chnage igl you change way you play and it needs time. You can't expect them to start winning immedietly against top teams. Even navi without simple is still top5 team, they have structure with blade. And someone sad that hooxi used jks as an entry, you should first watch the game and then talk, you would see how hooxi was the one who was opening so before you write about something use your head and think about it. It the easiest thing to blame someone and especially when your words are nonsens.
