The two players have been allowed to explore their options following K23's unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the IEM Rio Major.

Bogdan "⁠xsepower⁠" Chernikov and Vladislav "⁠FinigaN⁠" Usov have been benched from K23 and the organization has made them available for transfer with immediate effect.

The change follows in the wake of K23's elimination from the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR, where they were stopped just short of qualifying for the Major in the 2-2 deciding round by BIG after a tightly-contested three-map series.

xsepower has been allowed to explore options outside of K23

xsepower has been a part of the Kazakhstani organization for just over a year, averaging a 1.10 rating during that time and helping the team make deep runs in a handful of online cups.

FinigaN ⁠— who only just arrived in August to replace the Evil Geniuses-bound Sanzhar "⁠neaLaN⁠" Iskhakov ⁠— has had his tenure on the roster come to a abrupt and surprising end, considering the team's recent results and the fact that he had only just signed following their qualification to the RMR.

The change to K23's lineup comes ahead of what is shaping up to be quite a CIS shuffle, with Entropiq also recently transfer-listing their entire roster, and FORZE benching both Aleksandr "⁠KENSI⁠" Gurkin and Evgeny "⁠Norwi⁠" Ermolin.

He has some insane reaction speed, but he also couldn't find stability. You never know if he'll hit or miss.

yeah makes no sense. no other proven igls in cis region to pick up. Finigan wasn't even that bad. Xsepower benching at least makes sense because of how inconsistent he can be

Ex-bookie and ex-esic worker said that he knows more than 100 of players involved in matchfixing, he also helped them to get away with no evidence For example some of them already leaked: woro2k, w0nderful, finigan, akuma and ramz1k He said his job was to detect matchfixing but when he understood that no one cares he started to help players to do that And the worst part of it that no one from big names want to talk about this, that guy said he got proofs and sent them to v1lat (owner of maincast) and he responded "no one gives a fuck", thats why we still dont have any news or even threads about this on hltv
