KaiR0N- replaces n0rb3r7 on Outsiders
David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan is being moved to the inactive roster to allow him to focus on improving his form.
18-year-old Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin has been signed by Outsiders and will take the place of n0rb3r7 on the active roster. The news comes after Outsiders followed up their IEM Rio Major victory with a disappointing last place exit from BLAST Premier World Final.
Outsiders underwent a revamp early last year as Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis left the squad due to pressures created by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and Timur "buster" Tulepov was also benched to allow the team to seek "fresh ideas about the game." n0rb3r7 was one of the players sought to replace the duo, and he was brought in along with Petr "fame" Bolyshev.

After an adjustment period the Russian squad's results began to ramp up beginning with ESL Pro League Season 16, where the team managed to grab a 5-8th place finish. This culminated in a surprise run to the trophy at the IEM Rio Major, and a temporary stint as the No. 1 team in the world.
Their underwhelming performance at the BLAST Premier World Final meant they were knocked off their perch at the top of the world rankings before the year ended.
The aforementioned "humbling defeat in Abu Dhabi" was the catalyst for the current change according to Nikolai Petrossian, the CEO of Outsiders' parent organisation, with him stating that that they "realized that the team needed changes that would allow us to stay true to our playstyle, while not letting opponents adapt to us."
Petrossian went on to say that n0rb3r7 "is a brilliant player, that's why we don't put him out on a transfer list," and that Outsiders were "ready to consider proposals for a temporary loan" while he was on the bench.
KaiR0N-, the youngster joining the squad, has already made a name for himself as an up-and-coming player, as evidenced by his recent bold prediction nods from YEKINDAR and new teammate Dzhami "Jame" Ali.
The rifler's best-rated periods came during recent stints for INDE IRAE and Spirit Academy, where he averaged a 1.14 and 1.22 rating respectively. He also briefly featured for the main Spirit roster at the end of 2021, but struggled to perform in the four maps he played at DreamHack Open November.
Outsiders are now:
Dzhami "Jame" Ali
Petr "fame" Bolyshev
Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev
Aleksei "Qikert" Golubev
Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin
Dastan "dastan" Akbayev (coach)
David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan (benched)
