The Belgian organization released its in-game leader and AWPer ahead of a restructuring of the squad.

Update 17:20 : Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro is set to join Falcons to replace Jordan "⁠Python⁠" Munck-Foehrle according to another report by 1pv.fr.

bodyy and Aurélien "⁠afro⁠" Drapier are no longer tied to HEET, the organization announced on Twitter. The news supports a previous report from 1pv.fr which stated that the current iteration of the squad was coming to an end, with the 23-year-old marksman expected to join LDLC.

HEET's CS:GO manager, Vivien "⁠GoY⁠" Goyon, also confirmed on social media that the squad would not compete at EPL Conference Season 17 while they were rebuilding their lineup.

bodyy and afro leave HEET after one year with the organization

afro and bodyy's partnership dates all the way back to June 2020 when the two Frenchmen joined LDLC. The duo stayed together after their departure from the French organization and through the formation of DBL PONEY, where both remained a steady presence in the team, helping the squad gain recognition in European circles until they were acquired by HEET in January 2022.

HEET found success at several European online events, and even won a few such as Elisa Invitational Spring 2022, ESL Challenger League Season 40 Europe, and Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5, but failed to translate their early success to LAN. Their biggest heartbreak came at the European RMR in Bucharest where the Frenchmen were just two rounds away from qualifying to the PGL Antwerp Major.

afro to join LDLC - Report

Their desire to take the next step and qualify for the next Major led them to make their first change in August, when Lucas "⁠Lucky⁠" Chastang was moved to the inactive roster to make space for Audric "⁠JACKZ⁠" Jug following the Frenchman's departure from G2. Unfortunately for HEET, their new roster faired no better at the next RMR and left the IEM Road to Rio in 12-14th place.

"We had some amazing moments together, such as qualifying for the ESL Pro League and winning many tournaments. We were also a couple of rounds short of qualifying for the Major two times," read HEET's statement on Twitter. "But every good story has an ending. That is why we will be parting ways with 2 wonderful and talented players."

sure the system could work on the paper, but honestly I think that bodyy is a way better IGL than NBK is at this point, and he's coming into NBK's pet project and he's definitely gonna notice some issues... I just wonder how those two are gonna get along, because they'll probably both want to do things "their way"
