Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen returns to activity after spending the past month on parental leave.

Vitality have announced that they will have their full roster in play in time for the start of their campaign in the ESL Pro League Season 17 playoffs. This means that dupreeh will return to the roster after he went on parental leave in mid-February.

HEET's benched player Audric "⁠JACKZ⁠" Jug stood in for the Dane in the group stage of the ongoing ESL Pro League season and turned heads with an impressive performance in his first Big Event appearance since the previous season of the competition took place.

dupreeh is back after JACKZ stood in for him during EPL groups

The 30-year-old averaged a 1.26 rating, the second highest on the team behind Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut, and helped Vitality pick up three consecutive 2-0 wins over Grayhound, OG, and FaZe to secure the top spot in Group C.

The successful run earned Vitality a direct berth to the quarter-finals, where dupreeh will be back in play. The Dane had had an up-and-down start to the year, averaging a 1.12 rating at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups and only a 0.91 rating at IEM Katowice.

Vitality's first match with dupreeh back in the roster will take place on Friday at 19:00 . They await their opponent in the quarter-final bout, which will be one of ENCE, G2, or Movistar Riders, who will begin their bracket campaigns one or two rounds earlier.

no proof via numbers, but jackzz looked like a positive change in this Vitality squad. Also, he was always the man that upgrades team morality, and the overall team looked fresh.

same, i think he's one of the best personalities in CS but bro would easily get out aimed by a random LVL 10 faceit and jackz aim is insane if u utilize it for dirty stuff and entry kills. Stupid … In this vitality roster jackz > dupreeh maybe cause we need more than 3 bo3 to make a statement. Did u forget how jackz perform on Heet ? As French I would like to see jackz finish this tournament cause they is French effect with jackz who make the 3 French shinning. That’s why national team > international team. Xi Wu is god tier. Magisk still a menace. Apex average IGL performance, spinx stepping up. If either dupreeh can play well or someone else in his place vitality will be a major contender. It's the last missing piece now.

without jackz they lack a player that have good enought aim to entry.. they can t use zywoo or spinx they need to be there for middle and end of rounds.. it feels like dupreeh is the problem in this team, he never found a role with impact but maybe he will deliver cause he is on preasure right now after jackz performance

All he can do these days ia hold angles or play dualies close range which all of vitality loterally can do and more on top xD he legend and i loved him but jackz just so muxh better fit they need dedicated entry with good aim. Spinx is passive and holds angles but can do much more then dupreeh. Apex can do literally all roles dupreeh is while being igl at same time. Magisk can hopd angles can igl can entry can awp can support can anchor basically universal player. Zywoo can do it too. Dupreeh os the weaksppt and jackz is cheapest and most easiest option. But ofc dupreeh came as deal with zonic and magisk and they dont wanna ruin trust and relationship but if logically and all about winning and not about having good friendahip then dupreeh neesa to be replaced by someone whoakes space not only stands in 1 position and looks 1 place whole game.

Totally agree! Apex explained in interview that Jackz way of playing agressively was more in line with his own gameplay and he felt better about it. It was not much the case with Dupreeh (which remains an amazing player to me) but maybe Dup will understand he has to adapt a little bit his own playstyle to meet Apex halfway...

lol dupreeh getting a lot of smack in here I do think that he really need to prove his worth after Jackz run in vitality. Even though that run may be due to "standin buff" it shows what vitality are capable of with a solid player taking over dupreehs "role".
