First CCT Online Finals invites announced

BIG and Ninjas in Pyjamas are among the invited teams to the online event.

GRID have revealed the first wave of invites for their inaugural CCT Online Finals tournament following the organizer's decision to reorganize their circuit. The online competition will take place in Europe between May 23-30 and will host sixteen teams from around Europe and South America competing for a $200,000 prize pool.

The organizers have invited six teams based on their performance in the CCT North Europe and South America circuits, while the remaining four have been chosen directly by GRID with six more yet to be announced.

BIG is the highest-ranked team in attendance at the event

The South American contingent is comprised of top-four ranked teams from the circuit's ranking and includes Sharks, Meta, and Corinthians. Fluxo were supposed to be among the participants as the top-ranked team from the region, but decided to skip the tournament with Corinthians taking over their spot.

Teams from the European circuit are headlined by top-20 teams BIG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, 9INE, and FORZE. The German squad comes into the competition as the highest-ranked team and looks to redeem their disappointing performances from the European RMR and Brazy Party. Meanwhile, Ninjas in Pyjamas, GamerLegion, FORZE, and 9INE will tackle the event after participating at the Paris Major.

CCT circuit studio finals moved online

The most recent CCT North Europe Series 4 winners Astralis Talent will also be in attendance alongside Aurora and HAVU. The organizers will announce the remaining six teams in the coming days.

They will be the first online finals held after GRID and its partners made the decision to change their planned 10 offline events to five events with double the prize pool due to the "teams' busy traveling and event schedules, allowing more teams to participate in the high stakes events."

Would be a good move for him since TSA are already established in T2/T3 and they're getting lots of invites + he could grow up massively under s0tf1k's leadership Btw s0tf1k deserves his flowers. He ain't the greatest individually player in the world but he literally brought absolute nonamers to T2 level in a span of 3 months. If he was a bit better individually I'd seriously consider bringing him to the main team as well
