00NATION part ways with Brazilian lineup

The organization is allowing the Brazilian part of its operation to forge its own path.

00NATION has announced they are closing down the Brazilian part of their operation, and that the players and staff will be moving to a Brazilian organization.

The news follows reports that surfaced earlier this month that 00NATION were in talks to sign a European lineup led by Thomas "⁠birdfromsky⁠" Due-Frederiksen, featuring the likes of Florian "⁠syrsoN⁠" Rische and Jon "⁠JDC⁠" de Castro.

"Building two separate companies, one in Brazil and the other in Europe, caused great pressure on the teams and resources," the announcement stated. "[We] came to the conclusion that it would make much more sense for Brazilian management and investors to take over Brazilian operations."

The statement went on to say that "the new project will be totally Brazilian," and will acquire "all the lineups, which will follow along with the staff in a new organization."

00NATION are a Norwegian organization, and they have historically fielded both a Brazilian and European squad, 00NATION serving as the main team and PROSPECTS serving as their academy project. The organization parted ways with the previous PROSPECTS lineup in July.
