Vitality submit mezii to BLAST Fall Final roster amid transfer talks

Heroic has registered Zyphon to complete their five for cadiaN's final event.

mezii's form at fnatic has earned him the attention of Vitality

Vitality have registered William "⁠mezii⁠" Merriman in their lineup for BLAST Fall Final. Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif, who is set to join Falcons, is the player most likely to make way for the British rifler, but he has still been included on Vitality's roster.

HLTV reached out to fnatic and didn't get a comment, but an announcement regarding the situation is expected soon from the organization.

Other sources who wish to remain anonymous to protect relationships have confirmed that contact between the organizations has been made for mezii's transfer, although HLTV could not confirm if an agreement has been reached.

Well you can't just randomly reduce someones salary when he is doing what was expected of him, his salary was so high cause of his tenure and being on the org since 2014 (if you ignore the GODSENT move in 2016), they either have to deal with it or kick him from the roster, but there was no reason to kick him he was doing his job fine and they clearly couldn't find anyone better

I have no issues with ppl being vocal, just some players give the feel that they don’t do it to hype their team, or even to taunt the other team in the heat of battle (Like JW or Taz, the masters of smack with class) but just do it to actually be toxic to the other team, and keep being toxic after the game is over. That is why I dislike Apex, he falls totally in the last category.

Winning is irrelevant to individual form. This is a team game. Unless your statement is that mezzi collapses in high pressure situations , which is as far from the truth as possible he's the opposite , but only if that was the statement you're making would it be relevant to the conversation When he was calling and BEFORE he was calling his stats were comparable to Magisk, only now after just transitioning off of igl is your statement true. So sure it's a risk because who knows if he'll get back to previous form. But 1 he's young. And 2 his previous form truly was really good. Even when mezzi was the SUPPORT player on the "colossus" roster. He was THE BEST PERFORMING player on the entire roster. Atleast especially when factoring roles. And that was versus the best teams in the world. Also mezzi even after cloud9 has faced many many many tier 1 teams while off of cloud9. In paticular while on fnatic not the British lineup I can't remember the name of.

Well, I called it guys, and honestly couldn't be happier as a Vitality fan and a Mezii fan. It's a very good fit, like I said, and they've played with a British player before, he deserves better and now he has more of a chance to win trophies, but let's see how it all plays out.
