The Brazilian side stunned Cloud9 by coming back from 1-0 in maps and 4-10 down on Inferno to prevail in overtime and secure the win convincingly on the decider of Mirage.

Completed the win, tell me a bit about that comeback on Inferno

For me especially, it was so fucking great. We lost both pistols, and after the eco we played on the T side [at 10-4 down], I looked at the Cloud9 guys and they were just laughing at us. Just laughing. They had a great atmosphere in that moment, and I was like, 'I don't want to see these guys laughing at us,' because it felt like they were treating us like shit.

I was feeling that way, so I was like, 'guys, let's doing something. We need you guys to step up because if you do then we can beat them.' We started winning some rounds, we had a great momentum, and that was it.

And on the general uptick in results. Been a while since you and saffee joined, and you're really starting to look like a good team.

When we joined they were good but we knew they were missing experience from tier-one tournaments, and some micro-decisions during the rounds. We bring it from FURIA because we are used to top 20 players like KSCERATO, yuurih, of course arT is a genius also, and we just brought what they needed. Since we joined we are developing so well. I just hope we can keep it up.

What's the limit at this tournament now?

To be honest, I don't know. We are happy, we are enjoying it here. The weather is more like Brazil so we are comfortable, and happy doing all this stuff out of the server. When we joined, our communication is on point, our aim is on point. I really think we can be champions but we need to keep working and our next game is our focus now.

Just something on your own performance as well. Considering a lot of your positions, how hard you have to sacrifice, on T side too, not just on CT side. Are you proud of yourself in this team and this tournament?

In this team overall, I can do much better. The last two tournaments, overall, were just awful, horrible for me. Coming into this event our first game was excellent for me and I don't think I did badly in this one. We are finding our way to play and everyone is feeling comfortable. I don't care if I'm playing B Mirage and i'm giving insani his AK to play in Conn, or when I drop an AK to brnz4n on Nuke and stuff like that. I just want to win, the boys want to win too. I believe in them, and that's it, that's just my job.

I believe the max he knows of russian is "Privet" and maybe some swear words he picked up when played against/with russians on practice/DM/whenever, so I wouldn't exactly trust his testimony either, at least not 100%. I know brazilians like that "everyone is against us" shit, but sometimes people laugh just because they feel like it, it's not always "laughing at". Edit: And yeah-yeah, I know, flag checks out and all that.

Relax, I just think he could have worded it better. Something like "I saw them laughing and having a good time and thought that I don't want them to have a good time against us. That motivated me". Or something like that. Instead it makes it feel like C9 were thinking they suck and laughing at them.

that was cool revenge, to be honest. I feel like some c9 players are so selfish and hoggish right now, so im very glad that mibr did it. I have been cheering for BR region since papa fallen did it twice with luminosity and sk and introduced me in cs world, so every time furia/mibr/pain/imperial are winning matches against "giants" like that i am always feeling great as well as CIS shows great results in the world. I am really surprised every time i join gaules stream( i am usually watching it when br teams are playing) without knowing your language and see how 90.000 of people are writing 1 billion messages in second, and gaules is screaming " que issu archi, que issu fallen, belisa insani" and that makes me so happy haha. Just wanna say that you brazilian fans are insane, and there is no need to hate eachother cuz of teams, or blame, just let cs continue collecting people from all over the world and make them happy.
