In a surprise twist, Falcons have bagged two more members of a former ENCE core to finalize the roster.

Falcons have announced the signings of Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García and Pavle "⁠Maden⁠" Bošković from ENCE and the long-awaited addition of Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif.

The former ENCE duo comes as shock additions to the new Falcons roster that was last rumored to have been seen practicing with two players they had previously benched, Miłosz "⁠mhL⁠" Knasiak and Laurențiu "⁠lauNX⁠" Țârlea.

Magisk's signing is however no surprise after rumors of the move have been swirling for over two months, including an October 27 report from HLTV which revealed the deal had been finalized.

The new additions join the last remaining member of the previous roster, Mohammad "⁠BOROS⁠" Malhas, as well as Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer, who was also widely reported to be joining the Saudi Arabian organization's roster ahead of the official confirmation on Friday.

Falcons sign Snappi

The Danish in-game leader, SunPayus and Maden now reform a three-man core that competed under ENCE for over a year and maintained a top-five ranking since June following a win at IEM Dallas and runners-up finishes at IEM Cologne and Gamers8.

This also means that Falcons will inherit a direct invitation to the European Regional Major Ranking event and skip the online qualifying process for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen thanks to ENCE reaching the top-16 stage at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

It should also mean that Falcons will play at IEM Katowice, for which invites will be handed out based on the ESL World Ranking as of Monday, December 17.

He fell off hard in terms of performance after the full french G2 roster. Like, he was still playing okay, but okay doesn't win tournaments. Like, sure it's fine to be nostalgic about when he was playing really well, but it was his self-proclaimed laziness that accelerated his demise because he didn't put in the work to stay at the top (or at least that's the hypothesis anyway)

This feels just like a sideways change. I imagine this team is probably just going to be around the same level of the old ence, no better and maybe a little worse. The only thing that changed is some of the ence boys will be making more money, good for them but I don’t think they’ll be a stable top 1 team.
