The Finnish organization has confirmed that NertZ's buyout clause has been triggered.

NertZ is rumored to join Heroic

ENCE have announced that Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz will be departing the team. Initial reports had him moving to HEROIC alongside Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García and Pavle "⁠Maden⁠" Bošković, but after the latter two ended up going to Falcons, it is only he who is expected to reunite with former coach Eetu "⁠sAw⁠" Saha.

The move is happening after the Israeli's buyout clause was triggered and marks the end of the departures from ENCE, who are in the midst of a major overhaul.

The Finnish organization lost their coach, IGL, AWPer, and two riflers, and have so far brought on Jakub "⁠kuben⁠" Gurczyński and Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander as part of their rebuild.

NertZ racked up a 1.13 Rating during his time in ENCE and won his first big event with the European sdie in June at IEM Dallas.

Because evidence points to players also being involved, not just Hunden himself. Danish Niko was involved for sure, so people assume other players (namingly Cadian and stavn) would have to be involved aswell. It's not what I believe, but the assumption seems reasonable for a lot of people. Why people would hate stavn and jabbi seems pretty obvious to me. All in all I think the hate towards Heroic was more directed to the players instead of the organization, so it might calm down with a new roster coming up.

That's how it should work. If he likes/doesn't mind the offer and buyout is paid - you are free to go. It's way better than trapping players in contracts and just not letting them out until it expires.

This is a tactic to get more buyout money. Its to tell orgs their players will not be cheap. This is ENCE's business model. They will rebuild again, and it was their plan all along.

By huge disaster you mean huge win. They are in the green by at least a few hundred thousand dollars for the year, if not over a million. They made more money from these buyouts than major sticker money, which they can still attain if they qualify. They remain the only profitable org in the louvre agreement, and its not even close. Even if they miss the major, which could feasibly happen, it is unlikely they have a red year in 2024. If they do make the major, then they are even more in the green than they thought, but that money will only be spent after the copenhagen major cycle, ence wont risk all their profits for the year just to try to make the major, thats why every other team is in the red and lose hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.

ENCE just made so much money. They must be jumping for joy honestly. Another year in the green for the org while every other org bleeds money. Theyll pick up cheap good talent, or promote academy players, and that rebuild will be in glaives hands. Perhaps a vet or 2 will come to play too, like dupreeh, but he will be a free agent and likely cheaper than other players. This is a good thing for ENCE, its their business model, and its what keeps the org afloat. They will likely be in the green by a few hundred thousand, if not a million for the year.

some real interesting takes in this thread. 1. The "disintegration" of ENCE cannot only be contributed to gla1ve. One could argue that their mediocre results after his signing could contribute to the trio leaving, but I think ultimately it comes down to the departure of Snappi and sAw. Lets say ENCE won elisaa and by some miracle also won BLAST. I still think the trio would leave, at least SunPayus and Maden to join Snappi over on Falcons. So yes, maybe gla1ve had a part in them losing most of their roster, but it shouldn't be solely blamed on him. 2. Gla1ve more than likely knew this would happen. As he stated himself in an interview, "For me ENCE was the best place because here I felt like I could use my skills to build the team in the future, so if people are deciding to leave the team or they are selling players and stuff like that, I have a say in what players are coming in." I don't feel bad for gla1ve because he knew this would happen with the departure of Snappi and sAw. Lots of good options out there for gla1ve to pick up. I can't help but feel like it's over for ENCE really, they lost the most important parts of the roster, gla1ve so far isn't impressive as a caller at all, and dycha is just so inconsistent. Honestly, I don't think ENCE will be a Tier1 team moving forward if their rebuild is around gla1ve and dycha. So sad to me really :(
