PGL reveals invites for Copenhagen Major RMRs

Twelve teams have received direct invitations after keeping a core from the Paris Major.

PGL has revealed the list of teams that have been invited to attend the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments leading to the Copenhagen Major. Eleven of the 32 spots at the Europe RMRs are now filled, while only one team participating in the Americas RMR has been determined.

The teams that made it to the Legends Stage of the BLAST Paris Major are directly final to the RMRs, provided that they managed to retain at least three of the players who competed at the last CS:GO Major. Only four of those teams do not meet that requirement: HEROIC, Natus Vincere, Liquid and fnatic.

Falcons have earned direct entry into the Europe RMRs after acquiring the core of the ENCE roster that played in Paris. The Finnish organization, in turn, signed three players from 9INE, retaining a core eligible for an invite.

The remaining 21 European teams and 15 Americas teams will be determined by closed qualifiers. In Asia-Pacific, all eight RMR teams will come from regional qualifiers.

Earlier this month, PGL announced the dates and locations for all three RMR events. The Europe RMRs will take place in Bucharest from February 14-24, while the Asia RMR will be held in Shanghai from February 26-28. The Americas RMR will be played in Monterrey from March 1-4.
