The Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov-led team added three household names.

Patsi has returned to a Russian-speaking team

PARIVISION have announced the signings of Robert "⁠Patsi⁠" Isyanov, Artem "⁠ArtFr0st⁠" Kharitonov, and Aleksei "⁠Qikert⁠" Golubev ahead of the 2024 season. The organization entered Counter-Strike at the end of September but has already significantly overhauled its roster with three well-known names.

Jerry and Daniil "⁠X5G7V⁠" Maryshev are the only survivors of the previous lineup, which also featured Bogdan "⁠xsepower⁠" Chernikov, Andrey "⁠BELCHONOKK⁠" Yasinskiy, and Konstantin "⁠Raijin⁠" Trubarov.

Jerry returns to action with PARIVISION

The team failed to break into the tier-one circuit and attended just four events, with their most notable appearance coming at PARI Please 2023, where they finished in last place after losses to Eternal Fire and Aurora.

The new signings bring a significant amount of experience to the roster. Patsi joins the team following a challenging period with Liquid, where his tenure lasted only six months and was accompanied by a considerable drop from his peak performance with Spirit.

ArtFr0st makes the move from Spirit, where he was recently replaced on the starting roster by Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov. The Spirit Academy product was one of the surprises of the fall season, having averaged a 1.18 rating and helped his team finish the season with a trophy at BetBoom Dacha 2023.

The final player is Qikert, who was benched by Virtus.pro in August. The 25-year-old notably won the IEM Rio Major 2022 under the Outsiders tag but found himself out of the team after they couldn't replicate their success. He spent a short loan stint at Into the Breach as an IGL but returned to the bench after the organizations were unable to agree on a buyout.

The lineup is set to debut in the first PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR Open Qualifier, set to start on Monday, January 8.

These guys all being Russian/CIS already puts language and cultural issues to rest with this roster. Plus I’m putting ArtFr0st > CeRq in every category these days, younger, better, higher ceiling to reach, etc. I think Bleed could become better than this team but it’s a lot of question marks and uncertainty whereas this will almost certainly be at least a semi good solid team. (This is coming from someone hoping to see CYPHER succeed)

Bleed is an ok team. Like unless Cerq becomes a star, its just a ok tier 2 team. This team isn't much better, but a core of Jerry, ArtFr0st and Patsi I think has more quality than Hampus, Cerq and Cypher, however I do prefer Faven and Launx to Qikert and X5G7V

This team just seem to fit better but I never hated on Bleed. I like the look of Bleed tbh, the majority probably think that the Bleed roster is fine. I just have a feeling that it will take longer for Bleed to get their shit togheter compared to Parivision but we'll see. Atleast Bleed are still in the qualifiers compared to Parivision lmao

Well he did play with donk for a while now, but yeah he's just unlucky to have shiro take his place. What can you do. I think this Parivision team is pretty decent too, though. Jerry can help him improve a lot.

C9 is too ambitious to settle for Artfr0st, he is good, but not at major winning level. Rumors were that Boombl4 wants "a sn1per", so after sh1ro went to Spirit we kinda know who they will try to sign after their no awper idea will fail.

i agree that c9 on paper would be a better team for him to join no doubt, but i doubt that c9 are looking for an awper in the current meta + looking for a new player right after they let sh1ro go, seems like they are most interested in trying out their current roster for a while before making chances, and I think that's the best move, too many teams have made too many quick roster chances realistically I think Parivision is one of the best options for Artfrost atm

Yeah, but is there even better place for him? VP? No way Monte? No way, they wont get player who played with Russians or pay "ex" Russian org. CoL? Not sure if ArtFrost speak English + their future is unclear. C9? Their coach said they will continue without Awper + speculation/rumors that they will sign s1mple. BIG? The most important factor is that Parivision were ready to pay that much for him, so it was probably a choice between Parivision and sitting on the bench until his contract expires. His English is decent and he would have been a minor upgrade over hallzerk, so CoL could sign him if he was a free agent or cheap, I guess, but even for CoL he is not obvious pick, considering hallzerk is only 1 year older, seems to have adapted well and it's unclear how good Artfr0st will play in an international team. Maybe GL since acoR is inconsistent, but it looks like GL has a lot of problems and acoR is definitely not the biggest one. BIG is better than Parivision, but I don't think they will replace mantuu soon. So yeah, almost no better place to go for him. Something like AMKAL or 9 pandas could have been an option, but it's the same as Parivision.

Decent team, top 20 potential. Jerry, Patsi and Artfr0st are all tier 1.5 (not good enough for tier 1, more than good enough for tier 2). Qikert is a bit washed, but okay for tier 2, will add a lot of experience and will be a second caller. Steam code is okay for tier 2.
